My WDP TL - front lip, deck lid, blue leds, blue calipers
A spec front lip (installed today)
Deck Lid spoiler (ebay, from trimking1)
Blue Calipers (painted today by me)
Blue Leds Throughout
I took a chance on the A spec front lip looking okay all by itself and I really think it does. Combined with the deck lid it made the car a lot more aggressive while still keeping a low profile. I also painted the calipers a strong blue and installed blue LED lights throughout cabin and doors.

Thanks! It's a whole new car today... I used duplicolor "ford blue" spray with ceramic (for engines actually). It's a little lighter in the picture than real life but I wanted it to pop and blue was a natural choice given all the blue lighting accents in the car (stock and added leds) Blue and white is definitely the theme... now I just need to get those damn orange ass headlights cleared. I love my new look!
EDIT: btw when I sprayed the calipers I got a bit of overspray on the disc and inside the cliper a bit, I assume this is okay and will wear off as I drive? I masked with paper and tape but there were places that got misted anyway.

you might want to try ur best to clean it off because there could be some issues with that....the caliper might slip through the rotor.....and if u get into an accident.....insurance could use that as a liability...it depends how much paint is on the rotor...just some thoughts...
also..im in the same boat as you for trying to keep the theme of Blue and black...im still debating the red or blue calipers...if i can find a darker color then ill probaby go blue...

Well I just drove it like 60 miles with no problem so calipers should be in good shape... man this car is great... got 3 compliments tonight from random passerby.

Near perfect. Was easy to install too. I had to bend it a little like many people report but took all of 5 minutes and looks factory. I guess people try to put it on straight without bending it to follow the edge of the trunk, but luckily I read here first. This is the trimking1 spoiler on ebay. Anyway I can't say for sure if paint is a 100% match but I can't tell and I doubt anyone else could either. Gloss, etc is all perfectly matched.

That looks nice. Very clean. I was thinking about just the front lip at first, but I decided to get the entire kit. it changes the total appearance of the car.

The stock rear calipers are oddly shaped. I'm not sure I want to bring them out or not. It would definitely make the car stand out more but they are shaped like brackets... not the sexiest brakes.

Very nice set up. Nice pics. I agree, the front Aspec front lip by itself does look good. I'm planning to add only the Aspec front lip. Ordered mine earlier this week. I may even add the rear deck lip spoiler too.

Too pastel for my taste. A dark shade of blue would look good though.

I masked and painted. Also it's not a pastel blue... the duplicolor "blue" caliper paint for $15 looked pastel, so I bought spray engine paint because it was much more saturated blue than the caliper paint product they had out. Maybe the pic doesn't represent it but it's a full on rich blue color, closer to neon than to pastel.

I just got SunTek 45% all around tints so I might have to re-shoot. Also ordered rockblocker headlight and tail light/side films in smoked color.

Lokius, do you think I could apply the smoked headlights and then use an exacto or something to remove the film from just the clear front part? Kind of a crazy thing to try but it might give the look of only the turns being smoked. On the other hand not sure if he film would stay on being cut like that... I don't know how these film products work and if they can be cut/edges exposed. My car is starting to look like yours what with being WDP and tints/smoked stuff... sorry about that promise I am not trying to bite your style

hey guys... im about to bit the bullet and get a WDP 05' TL today, i was curious as to how you smoked your headlights Lokius.... any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also, i was thinking of getting the WDP with the ASPEC kit... do you guys think its cheaper to get it factory installed at the dealership, or aftermarket? thanks

It's cheapest to buy the aspec stuff on ebay and install yourself. Next cheapest is buy online and have a reasonable bodyshop install it. Most expensive (but easiest) is dealer, and a dealer will be more willing to replace things you aren't happy with.
Lokius had his lights professionally smoked on the insides I believe after he tried films first (he can correct if I am wrong). You would have to hunt down a specialist for that, which I was unable to do in my area, so I am going with rockblocker.com films.
WDP is the best color You will love it. And the aspec stuff especially the front lip looks great. I would look into at least 45% tints... it sets off the white color dramatically.

I had them professionaly done by a shop in southern california, and they do look great. however they did a s hitty job of re-sealing them... I had some issues when the car went to high altitudes, however I had them sealed professionaly by a great body shop and now they are fine.
