My WDP Has Been Shy...

Hi Everyone!

I got my '05 WDP about a year ago and have since been following the forums religiously. I want to start off by saying THANK YOU to everyone who contributes here. I have learned so much and been able to do many things which I never would have even thought of without these forums.

I've been wanting to post up some pictures for a while now, but didn't want to put her up while still looking stock. I finally got some new rims so I cleaned and waxed and think it's finally time to reveal her to the community. Here are the pics....

I hope you guys like the pics! The first one looks yellow from the streetlight (I don't have a yellow TL like that other thread). The last two are just to show some shine.

The wheels are 18" Zenetti Deuces wrapped in Pirelli Pzero Nero M&S's. The other mod's completed are 35% Madico Tint w/ Moleskin, DVD Player/Backup Camera, White/Blue LED Lighting Inside & License Plate, and Black Painted Calipers.

The next things on my list are to get the Deck Lid Spoiler and the Front Aspec Lip. I am also considering the Carbon Fiber engine cover and the Illuminated Doorsills (but I can't decide if I really like the look or not). Any comments, questions, or suggestions are welcomed! Thanks for looking!

Looks really good pikabb

Those wheels look great on a WDP. I almost put a set on my car. Do you plan to lower it?

Cool TL

I have an '06, same color, w/ Nav. The other day, my wife mis- calculated the distance of a parking ramp card reader and scraped the F#@$ out of the drive side mirror on our less then 2 month old $40K car (sigh). Luckly that is all the damaged that happended.

Does anyone know about any after market side mirrors for the '06 T?. I will get the mirror replaced, rather than painted, but I think it would be cool to get an aftermarket.

I was wondering how those deuces would look on a WDP! Acuraghost said they stopped making them though?

Consider painting the rivets black.

Looking good and clean. I recognize the background from the 3rd pic from top, it looks like its across from crossbay blvd, going towards far-rockaway. Are you around Queens area.

Thanks for all the comments and feedback! As of now I have no plans to lower the car, especially with the winter coming up. I want to put on the front aspec lip and don't want my car to become a plow. I'm also afraid of scraping with the lip and a drop. I'm sure later on down the road I'll want to drop her though.

The tinting was done at a shop in the Bronx called Lorenzo Tint. I highly recommend using him. He's not the cheapest around but his shop did an excellent job and treated me and the car excellent. I think a few others on the form can vouch for him as well.

I called several distributors and they all said they were not making them anymore. I then tried calling up Zenetti and they were able to locate a dealer in my area who could order and install them for me. I called him and luckily his distributor said he had one remaining set and they didn't know if any more were coming. Needless to say, I had to buy them when I heard that!

I did think about painting the rivets black but I am still debating it. I think I might like the look now better because it adds even more to the two tone look. Any more opinions would be greatly appreciated!

You got it! That's exactly where those pics were taken. I am from Brooklyn but my girlfriend lives in Queens so I am around there a lot. Right now I am actually upstate in school though.
