My WDP!

Its been one hell of a week! Ive been staying after hours at work trying to get this car completed. Well its been tough and the reward is ever so more sweet! I hope you enjoy my progress more to come with time of coarse, but it sure made a 360 change over since I bought it last month.

very nice...but i don't mean to rain on your parade, but i am noticing gaps with the front skirt.

i had the same issue with mine, and i brought it back to the dealer where it was installed. they fixed the front pretty good, but there are still gaps in the back. from your pix, your back skirt looks perfect! i am thinking about re-doing the back myself, that was why i was asking from my other post what type of tape you used. when you re-taped the back, did you have to remove the complete skirt? or just removed the screws behind the rear wheel and slow peeled apart the existing tape? i am quite worry about deforming the skirt by pulling too hard. any advise would be awesome!

I had the same issue with the gaps. I didn't think the origianl tape itself will hold it so I went ahead and used some adhesive caulking to fill the gaps. You can only do it if you have WDP because the caulking is white. So far it hasn't separated. It also stops the water from seeping into the crack which eventually may loosen the tape.

It rained like hell yesterday water got inside the lip and started to pull the front apart. I did fix it after i took those pics. Armor on the interior because I am tired of looking at a faded dash. The stuff I am using, its been on for 3 weeks and has stayed the same way as in those pics.

For the record, the reason why in those pics the front lip has gaps is due to the fact the day after I installed the kit we had a massive rain storm in NJ and I had to go through flooded roads to get to work and by doing so it created gaps. I did fix it after I took those pics by sliding in more 3M moding tape. The only way to 100% fix it is by removing the front lip and using fresh new tape on the entire lip. Here are some shots of the rear which I didnt have to drill any holes in for the sides. Sorry for the pic but it was getting dark out.

Do you have any tips on how to remove that top screw right above the bracket....it connects the bumper to the body of the car?? The screw looks tough to unscrew

If its in the wheel wells just remove the rear tires. I had all 4 tires off when I did the kit.

For the front I explained why it came off due to the rain storm. For the rear I am actually glad It held in place after that storm, I just used a lot and I mean a lot of tape for the rear and it was like a one shot deal. I kept those sides loose intill I pushed them on to the bumper and sent those screws home. For the front they were gap less intill the next morning I got to work they had gapped. I did fix it, but its not 100% more like 90% done. The only way to fully correct it is by removing the entire front lip which really it doesnt bother me. Thanks for looking!

the brace itself looks like the stock one, that may just be the sticker from his intake. i dont think fujita makes a strut bar.

Its a bumper cover to where you can insert a tow hook. Tow hooks are used to pull the car out of a sticky situation. Some pictures available here: RockBlocker BlUe LeNs Addition

edit:
You have been answered in your thread: what is this thing on our bumpers?

I detailed the engine bay. Why wouldnt it not be safe to have a detailed engine? I guess I must upload my maxima engine bay.

That was my 95 maxima, 11 year old car detailed like crazy by me. Everyone keeps saying "your 04 car is clean" no no try keeping 11 year old paint in that condition and use it as a daily driver. The dash doesn't look bad, many other acura owners like the shine it has. It will never ever fade and it looks really nice and black. It all comes with detailing.
