My turn... 08' Acura TL-S w/ 19in Enkei GTC 01
Here's my 08' Acura TL Type-S in Alabaster Silver
Enkei GTC 01 in Hyper Black lowered w/ H&R Sport springs
19x8.5in 42mm offset (front) & 19x9.5in 42mm offset (rear)
245/35R19 (front) & 275/30R19 (rear) Toyo Proxes T1R tires
I'm debating on whether or not to get tint... I've always tinted my previous cars but this time around it really looks good without tint. Also, I want to add the A-SPEC front lip only. I think the side skirts & rear spoiler would take away the sportiness of the Type-S lines. Your is highly appreciated!
BTW, I expect some of ya'll to disagree with the staggered fitment on a FWD car but you really can't deny that it does look good. C'mon, the meaty 275 rear width tires makes the 350Z/G35 owners a little envy. I was told that I could run a 285 width tire if I wanted to but I was like nahhh... I'm good.

I can go lower about 1/4 in (Nuespeed springs 1.75in all-around) and wider tires such as 285/30R19 but I think I'm good. The ride is great and I don't have any problems with clearance. Oh yeah, the rear fenders are rolled but after mounting the wheels & tires it really wasn't necessary.
My rear fenders were rolled by fellow Acurazine member BigLizard (Thomas). Thanks Thomas!

However, the whip won't look right until you drop it.

Hey you're D R E W on VsixP.net?!? You use to own a NBP Accord coupe, SSM Accord sedan and Ridgeline? I always loved your coupe with the Advans. It was an inspiration of what I wanted my coupe to look like at one point in time. Nice pick-up with the Type-S! Another tastefully modded ride

Those rims and the drops makes the car look pretty beefy...I wonder how a aspec kit and tints would look.
unless u like the look of the mudguards,at least they're color matched.
Nice whip......

CF21TL-S,
IMO, the A-SPEC kit makes the TL cleaner and sleek. I like the lines of the Type-S without the A-SPEC kit but I may go with the front lip.
stillhere153,
Yeah man, I may go with some REAR spacers but nice try... I lurk around this forum a lot.
Meek32v6,
The wheels were out since 2007' and it wasn't my first choice. I wanted some Rota Torque or Rota SVN but the wait was something I did not want. Atleast these Enkei wheels are light weight for 19s.
Okay I will get tint since the majority of ya'll are in favor of tint. I appreciate everyone's

DREW,
I've got the same car. Below is a picture of my Type S with 20% tints all the way around. I also went to www.bluebatmobile.net and got the same 20% tints for my headlights. I got the 1/2 tints (they don't cover the entire headlight as to dispurse your headlight pattern), which made the window tints consistent with the headlights. The consistent look works for me-give it some consideration. I also got a roof spoiler that I really enjoy. See what you think.

Steven Bell,
thanks for posting pics of your TL. looks very nice with the tint & rear deck-lid spoiler.
RBP_04TL,
yeah no problems with the front calipers. other things that help with clearance are wheel width (fronts are 8.5in wide), the design of the rim (spokes), and wheel offset. Checkout www.tirerack.com since they have the rims a lot cheaper then what I got it for.

tint, tint, tint!!!!
no doubt that car is shit hot dude, i love thoes wheels....
what i dont like is staggered wheel size on front wheel drive cars....one of the main reasons i went with the acura over the other rear wheel cars i was looking at was the fact that the tires were all the same size and i could then rotate them in turn making the tires last twice as long....
it just looks weird to me to have the different size tires on a front drive car as the front wheels are the ones taking the beating...

To be honest I wouldn't even get the A-Spec front, it looks totally hot as is. To me the Type-S A-Spec kit is too bulky in the front. I am still hoping someone comes out with an A-Spec front for the TL-S similar to the older style A-Spec kit....that kit is so hot.
