I was thinking that, at some angles, it looked like the a-spec had a fat lower lip...

The Mugen Splitter is a replica, made of polyurethane. Was roughly 220CAD.
The original is like 800 USD.
The A-Spec is also a replica, I made a thread about that a while back.
I don't think I can bring myself to chop up a $800 splitter or a $400 lip.

My car is SSM... so I think you'll definitely notice something's going on in the front. lol.
I plan to wrap it in CF [the splitter] rather than painting it SSM or black.
Actually... also plan to wrap the lip in CF.. then paint the "outter" portion of the A-Spec as it normally is.

Nice progress!

I think I'll have to see it on the car to see if I like it or not. I'm not saying it will look bad but it may look out of place. Regardless of my opinion, huge props for doing something totally different. That's awesome

Thanks, appreciate the comment!
No worry about thread hi-jack. I don't mind. You're project falls under the same category anyway, post more pics when you can!

It looks good, sort of like the 07 base a-spec. Has that OEM feel to it!

It's okay. You can post here if you want to!
That looks good! Didn't realize you primed the entire bumper.
