My new TL-S and old car.

First the new car. I've had it for about 2 weeks now. Put almost 500 miles on it. First wash/wax today. It was quick and not perfect but I just wanted to post a few pics.

And my old car. 2002 Volvo S60 T5 5 spd

There they are. Thanks for looking.

Future plans for the TL-S:

Axis TC EVO 19"
20% Tint all around
AEM CAI

(All within the month)

Yeah, thats one of my friends from school. Its a pretty nice car. He has intake and exhaust (borla I think). Forget the rims and kit name.

I've seen a couple of them man. They look hot as hell! Then a NBP came by, TL-S style and just brought me back where I belong namesake!

Nice ride man! Both of them! At least you have a black Volvo!

Do you like the TLS more than the S60r? I thought about getting one of those at one point. They can be a really good value used as well!

take care

Actually, thats a T5 not the R. The R didn't come out until 04. The T5 came with a 2.3l I5 engine with 247 hp. (As opposed to the 300 hp 2.5l I5 w/ AWD) 16t turbo stock psi at ~12. I had turbo back exhaust, intake, 2" drop, 18" S60R wheels, EBC @ 16 psi D2D. Dyno'd at 261/244 fwhp/fwtq at 19 psi.

The cars have two completely different powerbands. The Volvo hit max tq at ~2500 rpm and sustained it all throughout the RPM range. It was a rocket out of the hole as long as you could control the tq steer. From a dig, it was hard to lock up the wheels. It would spin all of first and some of second and chirp third. It was a great car and I loved it. However, it was too loud (I can email vids to anyone who would want them) and now I need something a little more 'grown-up' haha.

I love the TL-S. I'm still in the break in period and trying to shift before 3k. I can't wait to test the car's full ability though. I love everything about the car so far though. (Esp the color.)

I bought 19" Axis TC Evo's today and ordered a Beltronics RX65 Pro too (going to need that soon). AEM CAI in about a week and I have an appt. for 20% tint next week.

Plans to drop it eventually. Its a lease so I'm not sure how much I want to do as far as suspension goes. (Not sure if I plan on buying out after hearing all the hype about the 4G TL.)

Thanks for all the comments. I still have yet to see another TL-S on the road. Plenty of TLs though.
