Gonna be the guy and says that it doesn't fit and is way too small. You're comfortable with the 1" gap on each side?

Yeah but remember if that is a oem one then it's probably the base lip spoiler and not the type s one. The base is shorter and thinner then the type s. If it's a ebay version then it matches the base pretty damn well from the pics given. But if he's happy with it then that's all that counts.

Its the base not the lip. And I love it it looks so much better then just the boring old trunk without anything lol and for 60 bucks I cant go wrong especially considering the paint matches so well. Its from ebay seller amebawings_com

Well weather it was or not, I dont think 99% of people who see the car will know the difference. And I think it looks good, especially for 60 bucks. Half inch gap is no biggie for me...

Not bad.

You should've searched the boards and found out that "thespoilerstore" is the best.

Yeah... Not bad, and if I wasn't a TL enthusiast, I probably wouldn't notice the difference. When my painted eBay roof spoiler arrived, I set it on the the trunk, and if it was at the right measurements, it could almost get away with being a close replica of a Type-S lip. I bet someone with some extra money lying around can try this and see if that company can produce one just for kicks and giggles.

It's the one that's been talked about quite a bit recently. I think it's being touted as one that is made for the Accord. The seller is something to the extent of "oembmwshop", or something like that. Somebody who recently purchased one from these folks can clarify the name.

Yea I like it it makes the back look better then just having nothing. It needed something. Im happy with it. And I looked at that roof spoiler but its 64 bucks and like 31$ for shipping, so screw that.

^^ Yeah... When I bought mine, the listed price was $97 with free shipping. It's all pretty much the same. I liked how it turned out on my car, even though I was a little leary of it at first before I just threw caution to the wind and bought it. To me, it "finished" the back of the car.

I think the tails that you plan on adding will dramatically alter the look of the rear with outstanding results. Can't wait to see them.

Very nice Crestwood! I'm assuming a little of that graduation money helped support the trunk lip & tails :p I think the lip flows very well

question to the guys that bought the lip spoiler--> what is the best adhesive to use when placing the spoiler on the trunk? just wondering because i dont want to see it fall off or something when a strong gust of wind blows or when it rains or snows i know that it will still be there after i stop lol.

The one provided or 3M double-sided tape should work fine.
