How expensive is the suede headliner compared to a regular headliner fabric if it has to be replaced anyway? I'm sure covering all the A,B, and C pillars adds some more material and effort to it as well though.

Very nice Trew. I always love your car and I hope my DIY helped you out a little. Those are nice headrest monitors. What was the total cost on them? The boyo camera is the shit and is the cheapest thing in that setup. The car looks great...Mad Props!!

The iSimple allows for iPod/iPhone integration into the factory head unit.

In all honesty, Rodney's ride has inspired me tremendously. He's got it going on in a BIG way.

I have a custom body shop as a sponsor, so I get everything done pretty cheap. One should expect to pay anywhere from 800-1200 to suede the headliner, pillars and rear deck. Then there's Alcantara suede, which will pretty much double the cost since it's much more expensive material.

I see a second iPod cable. Is it possible to hook up 2 ipods and switch back and forth between them? That would be sweet if I could just tell my passengers plug in there ipod and play it through my Peripheral unit.
Yes, I have a second iPod cable in the back. Well actually, there are 3. Two of them are up front - One from the iSimple (for direct connection, quality sound), an apple a/v composite cable connected to the back of the dvd player - the dvd player accomodates an external a/v input and you can switch the source to watch dvd's or a second source, and finally the headrest monitors include a module that accomodates 2 external a/v inputs and one output. I used 1 input from the DVD player, and the other for a second iPhone a/v cable. The output was used to go to the Navtool so the navigation screen could show video as well. Confusing, eh?

I can't reveal what I paid, but as mentioned, you can expect to pay anywhere from 800-1200 to do the complete job.

You can probably get a regular fabric headliner installed for about $125.

Thanks dude. Your backup camera thread was the kick in the pants that I needed to install mine. It was well written and the pics were very educational. I really appreciate how you take the time to post your experience with all of your mods.

Been really busy getting ready for the Hard Rock show this past weekend, but I managed to get a few more mods in before the show. Here's my exhaust. Thanks to edluv143 for hooking me up with this Master exhaust specialist. I am just blown away by the quality of this install and it sounds just freakin AWESOME!!!

Catback system with 2 1/2" mandrel bent piping all the way back to dual magnaflows with custom tips. Stock mid-muffler and resonator were both deleted.

Al. that would be some funny shit. Too bad it doesn't. The backup cam uses the OEM video output and goes straight to the Navi screen.

There's no way to "tap" that signal - otherwise I'd throw the Navi screen up on the headrests for all the backseat drivers

Trew! I didn't realize you had that many mods. You did an incredible job on the headrest monitor install. I couldn't trust myself doing mine. Very nice TL; how come all the sick TLs on this forum are all WDP :o

that would be sick if backup cam also showed on the headrest. it would be funny if you were racing somebody and all they could see was them behind you showing on the headrests
