my passenger front seat has the same problem. I'm bringing it to Acura and going to have them either fix it or replace it. Not acceptable on a brand new car! IMO

Imagine a g35 exhaust with a tad bit more bass. I know now that dynomax resonator and mid muffler delete is the only way to go. If anyone is in the nashville area I would love to show it to you so someone could get a second opinion on here.

If you get a chance in between taking your car apart can you make a sound clip?

yes, as noted multiple times when i removed the mid muffler and replaced the resonator it sounded 50x better. Amazing. I took some vids today, I will go ahead and upload them into my myspace. Check em out. Just follow the link and click on my vids to see them. Keep in mind I have an AEM CAI too when you watch them. Oh, btw in the race track vids I didnt have this done yet so you can see the difference.

Well I have the only black TL-S here as far as I know. I know there is a silver one on post too. I usually do come out of gate 6 when I go home, I live right off of 911. High probablility it was me. Lowered, tinted windows, 19" RJ's. It is pretty unique....

Whoa!!!! I put noise-cancelling headphones on and listened to those clips!!! After my ears stop ringing (or is that my phone?), I have to start seriously thinking about what I am going to do to my TL!! My lady already thinks I love it more than her! But I set her straight - I told her I will never, I mean never, have the TL in our bedroom!!! There are rules to this game!!!

Remove the front bumper, remove the headlights, bake in oven 20 minutes at 200 degrees, remove front headlight lense, remove reflector from inside, and remove plastic housing that goes around bulb. Paint a couple things in there black adn put it all back together. Lots of work but the finished product IMO is well worth it.

Good looking car TLFourplay! You should bring it down to Indiana for our next Winged Warriors Performance Challenge! Thats not far at all...and you would be one of two TL's there then! Check the event out at wingedwarrior dot net. Would love to see you there! We are holding it at the world famous Indianapolis Raceway Park this year! (now O'Reilly Raceway Park). If for nothing...bring it down for the car show if you dont want to push the car and compete! You would win a trophy for sure I bet!

Here is a link to my garage section there just to get you to there.....

I dont even remember now, I really want to say I paid 45 bucks shipped. I ordered it from Summit. If you look in the performance section adn read the thread about removing the resonator the part number is in there. 2.5" in 2.5" out.

I removed my mid muffler yesterday and the car sounds much better. Did you use that aluminized material? forgot what the name was, but they didnt have stainless steel.

Honestly I dont even know what material piping the muffler shop put in place of my mid muffler. I was like you, I did that first and then did the resonator later. Trust me on this. DO the resonator.

Tint was 170, 20% all around. Rims (19") and tires (245-35/r19) together were 1,900.
