My 07 TL-S, NBP, 6mt w/19" RJ's

Here it is. Got it last teusday, got the windows tinted adn the mid-muffler removed wednesday, and the rims put on thursday. I currently have on order the nav2tv thing from Dom and the blitsafe audio thing on order adn will get that done this week along with an alarm (dont know which one yet). I am going to order the tein SS with EDFC, AEM CAI, outlaw engineering intake spacers, and the UR pulley when they all come out for the 3.5L.

Give me some suggestions!!

Well I am not sure. I called comptech and they said they are getting a Type-S as soon as they can and will begin R&D on it right away. Both test fitting 04-06 TL parts they already have and developing more. I suppose I would like to see a dyno first cause acura claims the S has a "high performance" exhaust. If the regular TL only gets 7 hp(right??) out of the SS then I dont know if it would be worth it. Plus I cut out my mid muffler and I love the quad tips so I dont know if it would be worth it all together.

umm...actually i think you don't understand what a SS is. SS = short shifter. I believe it's the same design in the TL Type S than int he 04-06, so i suggest you throw that on there.

How is it mounted? Is it mounted the same way the DOM aftermarket guys are doing it? That would seem too ghetto for Acura to do, hopefully its in a built in housing that can be used for 04-06's.

Hey, it was nice to meet you today. Enjoy your ride and take it easy for awhile. God knows you need the rest after being in Iraq.

Here's a couple pic's of your ride from the meet today.

Dont think I will smoke the tails. I learned today that pressing the VSA button lets the car take off faster, wow it really makes a difference. I havent driven a regular TL but this thing is seriously a rocket ship.

Thanks for the comments from you all, and thanks for posting more pics of my car!! I will keep everyone well informed as to what I do to it and keep posting pics as I go.

It sounds really good. It sounds great, especially under load at lower speeds. I think I may be able to work a video. May take a while though...

Thats John Force. Torque steer is very very well under control, it barely becomes an issue ever. Only real issue is lack of traction.

Well if you saw that one video I can smoke them pretty easily. I need higher RPM's to do that though, if I just drop it at lower RPM's it wheel hops pretty bad. Basically yeah, wheel hop is na issue unless I drop it from a high RPM.

What springs are you using? i cant decide between the HR sport or HR race springs...

I removed the mid muffler and replaced the resonator with a dynomax resonator. It is definitely a must do. It doesnt sound ricey at all, never ever raspy. Just a nice sexy tone. EVERYONE that hears it loves it. Hands down. Sounds like a ferrari or something.

I am using the Tein SS w/EDFC

I had HR sport springs on my accord. I would suggest the sport, the race would be too low and unadjustable too.
