My '07 CGP progress thread

Long time lurker here, thought I'd finally make a thread of my own. I've had my TL for about 5 years now and in that time I've done a few things to it such as type-s sidemarkers, slotted rotted, and a RV6 V3 j-pipe. Here are some pics in winter mode after a recent wash (hope these work, first time posting pics):

In the next couple of weeks these will be going on, 18x8.5 A-specs that I bought used and recently had refinished:

Along with the A-spec suspension (and a type-s RSB):

Future wish list includes an A-spec front lip, decklid spoiler, and possibly some type-s tails.

That's it for now, I'll add some more pics once the wheels and suspension are done. Thanks for looking.

It's a good looking color but I'm a bit biased...

Do you recall where you purchased your decklid spoiler, was it oem or aftermarket?

Wow. Those 18x8.5 A-specs are pretty sweet! I never been a fan of chrome so much so those are more my style. =o)

Put the A-specs on a couple of weeks back and finally had a chance to snap some pics after a recent wash.

I'm really liking how it turned out although the jump to 18s really makes me want to put on my A-spec suspension asap! Although stiffer it has to ride better than my 110k mile original suspension...

Tires are 245/40/18 Yokohama Advan Sport A/S, jury is still out but not sure if it's because of what I noted above with the suspension. They are good on smooth surfaces and have been great in the rain. I've put about 600 or so miles on them and they are growing on me.

On to the pics...

Get some tire black on that rubber-then you're done!

Must be the pictures because it's on there (Meguiars endurance tire gel). Now if you said get some black on those calipers I'd totally agree with you!

That wheel refinish looks identical to the OEM gunmetal colour

Nice progress!

LOL, well yea-that too!

The Megs is a good product. I usually go over the tires twice, just to get them to pop.....with any product I use.
