Smile My '04 WDP After a Quick Wash

I haven't posted any pics in a while, as there hasn't been anything new added to the vehicle since last summer. What impresses me the most is how beautiful this car looks as it pushes it's 8th birthday with 80k miles on the clock. I wish the interior held up as nicely as the outside... The two car seats have done a number on the rear leather. Ahhh... Kids!

Anyway... Hope everyone is well.

Very clean! FYI, I use these under the car seats in my cars and they do a great job of protecting the leather:

Still loving your car man. I was sure that the lip spoilers would detract from the clean look (especially BOTH) so I never purchased either... but it looks really good on your car!

Seriously, it's in the wrong spot on the trunk lid, and I'm too damn lazy to do anything about it.

Nice, I was just going to ask if these kind of protectors really help with car seats.

Is that the a-spec spoiler? It looks a bit bigger than the ebay lip spoilers.

I've been trying to find a TL-S spoiler for a while but that may be a fair compromise.

I have the standard OEM rear lip spoiler. Yes... It cost an arm and a leg in comparison to the eBay variety, but I like the look.

Thanks, Steven... Like any car this age, there are definitely noticable (annoying) flaws that the camera doesn't pick up. Fortunately, unless you look for them, they don't scream out, "Look at me!" I was lucky after my side impact accident 18 months ago... The body shop did very well putting her back together almost seamlessly and matching the WDP paint to a tee. The only major issue I have run across is the Navi DVD-ROM unit failing last summer. It's been refurbished since then by Alpine.

What condition are your seats in? I use Chemical guys leather cleaner/conditioner and my seats look great! It has gotten rid of the darkening marks that are left with constant use with that product.

To be honest, my seats are toast. I've neglected them for so long, it isn't even worth discussing. Add the dirt and grime that parchment attracts, plus the irreversable damage that two Graco car seats have done over the years... Yeah. Ugly. Someday, if I still have interest in the car after it's paid off and worth less than 5 grand, maybe I will invest in some new upholstery. Doubt it, but it's possible.

The car's been dropped about an inch and a half with my spring/shock combo, plus I've added 15mm spacers to the front and 20mm to the rear for a cleaner look.

Check out that feeler thread.
its a dealer getting a feel for what we need on the cheap.
Every one so far has chimed in with interior parts.

the two aluminum strips down the center console and bottom leather seat covers were the most popular.

From eBay almost two years ago. IIRC, they ran about $100 a pair at that time. From what I've heard, the price has increased quite a bit since then. I think the eBay store was "Assured Automotive", or something to that extent.
