Mountain Run Anyone?

Here are some pics from our little mountain run we had yesterday. Although it may not be the Tail of the Dragon, it gave me some insights on what I need to do to my car to be able to handle all of those twists and turns.

Also, does anyone notice a theme?

Here's a little video to go along with it.

Everyone has a different opinion of what the proper line thru the corner is?

Do I win a prize?!

I hear you. I wish I could get that, but that's some serious moola I don't have at all. LOL I don't think the A-Spec suspension was designed for that in mind. Also, we're thinking about doing the Dragon in December. Keep your weekend open.

Nope, but guess again.

Yeah, it would be nice to get a mountain run in while completely stock so that I can have a baseline to compare against after wheel/tire/suspension upgrades

there is no comparison to stock

Once you get bigger tires of quality and upgrade the suspension,
you never stop smiling about it as you accellerate off an apex

Go to a track day-school and learn to really drive the TL or any car.
Real race track with real race drivers coaching you, some places offer in car instruction for the beginner groups. $250 may seem like a lot, until you look at your insurance deductable and the things learned in school will save you many times that.

Ding! Ding! Ding! You win! As I was commenting in the 2G forum, I was the red headed step child at our local meet this time around. Usually, it would mostly be a lot of 3Gs and a couple of CLs, TSXs, and 2G TLs. Nothing was out of place. We were all Acuras, TLs, and enthusiasts . The only difference was the model generation.

$220 at Carolina Motorsports Park if you sign up (iirc) 2 weeks in advance.

You guys need some cars with color! That's a boring looking caravan (colorwise)... Nice cars though! Finally, 2nd gens out numbering those pesky 3rd gens. Good stuff...
