Motoboat's '05 Anthracite

Ok, so time to stop lurking and post some pics of my ride.

tint

new wheels (sorry about quality)

lowered

Its on H&R coilovers. I its a little bit lower than i wanted, but its only been a few hours so maybe it'll grow on me. Time for a good wash and wax. I go back and forth on the wheels too, sometimes I love em, sometimes ehh...but they arent getting changed anytime soon, so I gotta love em.

I've thought about clearing the headlights, but i want to keep some color other than gray all the way around. I feel it will be too boring. I guess im trying to keep it subtle.

After typing this I realize im pretty undicided about a lot of things on this car lol

Lol I think it looks great

We're all wishy-washy about some things on our cars.

Personally, clearing or painting the headlights makes a world of difference. I loved mine, but then again my car is low contrast so painting the lights made it look even better

You could even leave the amber diffuser and paint the chrome instead?

Lots of things to think about and lots of ideas to gather here.

Both, I was thinking about installing the coilovers myself, but I hadnt really done suspension work before, so shelled out some cash. They have always been very helpful there.

Damn that's a sexy AM.

If you want to keep it simple, finish the A-Spec and call it a day.

First, welcome to Acurazine.

Second, I really like the wheels and the drop. I know you felt like it was too low, but I think it looks excellent.

Took a couple more pics today, still learning this camera.

Tried my hand at carbon fiber wrap. Figured I would do something small out of the way. It came out ok, so much harder than I thought it would be. I learned a lot though. The other side has a few small cracks.

Photos look great. TSW Nurburgrings are among my favorite wheels, and they look so good on AM.

I'm in love with the way your car sits! Now just finish off the rear A-Spec kit and you will be golden.

Are the calipers just painted or is it an actual cover?

They are painted black, (w/ duplicolor black caliper paint) along with the heat shield and rotor. Then a cover is rtv'd over top. The cover is from the RDX p/n: 45218-TX4-A00

Its been a while since I posted an update. Raised her about 1/2 inch and added a-spec sides and rear. Finishing the kit realy rounds it out well, so if you are debgating whether or not...Just do it! I was skeptical at first but once I did it I loved it.
