So I just got a 2004 TL and i need some ideas of what to do to it. Its straight stock so I have a lot of work to do, help me please by posting some pics of some ideas, Thanks.

the name of the white color is called WDP or White Diamond Pearl.
checkout the photograph gallery for WDP threads and you can get an idea of what you like.

OP, are you goin for performance or looks?

I personally love the black on white theme many WDP's have going on (though agree it isn't unique at all)

Tint is definitely a good place to start looks wise. After I got my tint, friends literally thought it was a different car. Does wonders! I have 20% and it's dark enough for me but you can always go darker. (though not necessarily "legal" in some states)

After that, it's up to your creativity, likes and dislikes! (And wallet )

At least if you are doing black rims get one with a polish/chromed lip. There is one person on here with 20's and a WDP color and it looks really good.

white + black can work.. dont know about chrome tho. polished silver would look good. Have u seen other white TLs with other style wheels? possibly shop around first before making a decision would be smart

i would do window tints and a-spec definitely, after that i would probably get chrome or gold work vs-xx wheels with a nice drop and thatll have you car stand out nicely, maybe get the cleared headlights and cleared tails (or type-s tails?), if dont have a rear lip i would get that as well, maybe get some nice exhaust

Butt, you as you can see....everyone has their own opinion on what they should do to THEIR OWN car.

What if I dont like GOLD WORK VS-XX's? or cleared tails.....or what if I dont want an exhaust..... you get the picture.

The best advice is to browse through our forums and piece together what looks good to YOU, as an individual. Then when you think you have a worthy car, post up pictures.

I can tell you right away that all the WORTHY/EPIC cars on here did not ask petty and trivial questions about what they thought looked epic.

black roof is very "hip" nowdays. concave wheels are the new "deep dish". tinted head/tail lights are ghey, the new thing is to actually paint the lamps interior reflective surface. theres alot of things that you can do, it's about what you like.

Personally I think you have the best colour to work with. (I have NBP)
If you're going to get the aspec then you must lower the height, it should be banned to have aspec and 4x4 status.
I've always liked gold rims on white, I think the contrast works much better than black rims.
Tint the windows.
Do something to the headlights, clear, paint, clear diffuser, better bulbs.
Black roof is cool, but get vinyl so when you get sick of it you can remove it.
Exhaust you have some options, depends how tolerant you are to noise.

what..? the front lip is the whole idea...tell me when you see a car what the first thing you see..? hmm obviously the front the lip gives our 3g tl that makes other cars look just plain..the whole aspec is dope...

I think it's too boxy. For the 05/06 it's alright but for the 07/08 with the fogs I don't think there's a need. Who's with me???

Compaired to your other options which makes it look even more boxy and retarted A-spec is the best option. You have to see it in person and compair to your stock TL.

here's the best, most practical advice i have for you.....dont let a shitty shop tint your windows and leave the notorious huge gaping gray line of trim exposed on the rear quarter windows. im willing to guess almost half the people on here unfortunately rock that and defend it with statements like "it doesnt look that bad." but it does. just make sure they know it can be easily done. it makes a HUGE difference in the whole side-view of the car IMO.

For rims, I would suggest gold rims. I just love how the way white on gold looks.

The aspec kit, exhaust, performance modifications, are for cars in general, not color specific.

Some thoughts that come to mind are:
-black roof
-colored wheels (i think white cars pull them off best)
