Mmm...White (New wheels ARE HERE! Page 10)

^ Nice shots and wheels!
So i have some bad news guys, I talked to Varrstoen and they said I can't get their custom colors on the wheels. So i went with hyper black and will get them powder coated in the next couple months hopefully. I'm still stoked about the wheels though!
I went with the es3's in 18x9.5 +22 and 18x10.5 +22.
What tires should i get for the 10.5's? I'm going to need to run a stretch.

I'm running 225/40/18's on my 9.5's right now and haven't had ay problems. I'm wondering if I might be able to get by with the 10.5 +22's and a stretched tire (235/40) because I currently have a 15 mm spacer on my 9.5 +22's in the back. This would make it a 9.5 +7 wheel with a 225/40/18 tire and i only rub on fast accelerations and sharp turns. My fenders are currently rolled and slightly pulled.
Anyone have any conformation that I might be fine with the 10.5 +22's if this is working with the 9.5 +7's?

You can make it fit with the right amount of negative camber. I think 225's are the right choice if there's any hope of avoiding rubbing. However, I still think the +30 is the way to go. It will still poke like a mofo...

So the 225/40/18 tires i have on my 9.5's would work on these? I went with the 10.5 +22's because the were out of the +30's. I do like the aggressive look in the rear though.

Yeah, you could put 225's on a 10.5" wheel....the stretch will probably be pretty crazy.

^i iether,lol
Over all wht i try to say, i wont recommend too stretched due to safety reason. I was 1 ran 235 on 10 tire poped at 60mph zone over a bump n cost thousand$, dont worry i walk out ok. Just try to pass out my exp. Cuase most ppl just think's all about cool not so much on safe. By the way white n silver combo is rock. I 2 the same.

haha thanks for the laughs and advice guys. I think I might try the 225's on the 10.5's and if it doesn't work or looks to crazy, then i will get 235's. I'm kind of sad to part with the white wheels though......

I think you'll be fine with the 225's if you go +30. If you go +22, I'd go with 215's for that extra bit of fender clearance. I normally wouldn't recommend that level of stretch, but I've seen 205's on a 10" wheel on a TL and it was totally fine. Kinda changed my perspective on things. Either way, please post pics when you get everything mounted. Can't wait to see it!

We just got a big snow storm the other day to so I'm going to have to wait until the snow is gone to get them on the car. Gotta love the Midwest....

About an hour south of Chicago. You live in Illinois?
Yeah we got snow from that storm to but we just got a bunch the other day also. I thought we were done with snow for the year to.
