^ I like them a lot. The Phillips I hated the color, they almost have that halogen look but they have great output. The output seems pretty comparable but the 5k color looks better with the switchbacks and halos. I also really love the flicker the zkwr lens puts off on street signs .

Car looks great, Matt. How much did you end up paying for the roof spoiler, source?
Hate to see you switch from the Phillips as the color might be off but people love the output.
If you want to retain the output intensity but gain color then the new Osram CBIs are a good choice. A little pricey but you get 5000k color with 3200 lumens

Sooo. I've went thru about 3 Ebay hid fog kits now and finally got fed up so I bit the bullet and bought the Morimoto elite kit from the trusted guys @ The Retrofit Source. Which I highly recommend, I've had nothing but great experiences with those guys. Here is the kit ..
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...oducts_id=3952
The first thing I noticed is the quality but as should be expected for $150 vs $40 or 50 for the ebay kits. The ballasts are noticeably heavier over the ebay ballast which is a great sign . Relay harness is also very nice as are the bulbs. So i ripped out the old harness and put the new one in. The other thing I noticed is the color of these 3k bulbs are actually yellow and not neon green like the ebay kits produced so that's cool. This time around I actually mounted the ballast instead of just letting them dangle lol . Just a couple pics of the kit and where I mounted them. Ill upload some pics tomorrow of the light output.
The passenger side was a little tricky to find where to mount so I ended up taking off the horn and mounting it right behind it. worked out ok since your limited to options on that side.

^ They did do it for me for the HL, but needed some decent fog lights and thank you again JnC for the work you did. Still extremely happy with the way they turned out and the fantastic output.

Oh no , sorry to see that, Matt. Doesnt look too bad as I have seen some horrific results of a deer + front of the 3G. A new hood, bumper, grill, shrouding, may be the radiator? Glad you are ok though.
