Yeah definitely not going to do the green wheels, lol. Thanks for the title update.
Hmm, that's a possibility, I think that color would look pretty nice. I've never plasti dipped anything before though and I'm not gonna lie, I'm probably too lazy to change the wheel color after going through hell raising the car up to put anti seize on them and then lowering back down again.

The only difference between my car and John's is that he has the stock j pipe and I have the RV6 V3. Other than that we have the same resonator installed and mid muffler removed. I think his car with the stock j pipe is actually louder than mine is.

Sweet. Mine should sound like his then. I'm also on a stock j-pipe.
Does your car still have a little bit of rasp? It seems like in some of your videos there was.
Nope, rasp is gone as soon as I put the dynomax resonator on my car. You won't experience any rasp though with the stock j pipe, even if you went with a smaller resonator. But if you plan on adding a j pipe in the future, make sure you use the resonator John and I did, because I have already prooven that you will not get rasp
Already bought and shipped Amazon Prime FTW!
SWEET!! You will enjoy it. It makes the car sound more exotic and it's not obnoxious either. Also there is no drone at any speed especially cruising on the highway.

Sounds awesome!
Can't afford catback, j-pipe is...meh...$450... Stage 3 seems like the best option for us who just want a little deeper tone.

Thank you! I have the tips from SoCal Autosports, a vendor on here. The tips overall are nice, but I am going to be changing them out soon. I too had the trouble of getting them close to the fender. The problem is that the opening to the tips is 2.5 and our exhaust is 2.25. Also the reason the base tips fit in there so nice was because the stock exhaust pipe coming out of the back of the muffler had a bend to it which kept them up higher towards the bumper. When I had these tips put on the bent piece was cut off, probably what happened in your circumstance too. A coupler of some kind or a new piece of pipe with the correct bend in it will have to probably be put on it to make the fitment look right. Hoepfully with the new tips I'll be putting on, I can resolve my issue and make the fitment look a little better. Good luck getting yours done fixed

Dude, I'm ITCHING for RV6 to come up with some perfectly designed tips for the base opening, man. I want a BEEFIER version of the OEM tip but with a dual opening and have it have one of those 1 bar vertical dividers (like the awd exhaust on the newer TL's) and finished in chrome.

Hey, thanks for all the exhaust clips! I wasn't thinking I would end up going that route, but it seems like it would be nice, inexpensive mod to delete the mid-muffler and swap resonators....I may end up going that route at some point.

No problem man, glad the videos were able to help you out. I wish the videos were of better quality to truly capture how nice it sounds though. Just remember the resonator you want to go with is the Dynomax 24235

Very very tasteful across the board!
I currently have the mid muffler delete with stock res. and I could stand a little more volume, but the wife DD's the car and is already *MEH* with the sound. She said "I don't like that I can feel it in the gas pedal.....it vibrates now!!" I told her to get over it. I would love to do the dynomax resonator, but I already only get laid twice a year.

Lmao!! I think because she knows you deleted the mid muffler that she thinks she feels a difference in the gas pedal. IMO just the mid-muffler delete adds more audible tone inside the car and not outside.
I'm more than willing to bet if you swapped out the resonator and didn't tell her, she would have no clue that you did it. My wife actually really likes the sound of my exhaust with the J-Pipe, Dynomax 24235, and mid-muffler delete (which I am shocked at).
I say do the resonator mod and be about it and I bet you'll love the sound of it and she won't even bat an eye about it.

And oh boy, I bet you'll run into more problems with the wife when you change out the suspension and put new rims on. If the mid-muffler delete only changed the exhaust note a little bit and she complained, you are in a world of when you change how the car is going to ride, lol!

:what:
Im content with the sound for now. Ill just save it for later. I will weld it myself.
She is all about lowering it and rims. She just thinks our cars are supposed to be seen...not heard....Sound familiar anybody? However, with my V8 powered RX-7, she complained it was too quiet. I had turbo mufflers on it and loved it.
Its all about the looks ya know. Whatever makes her look better going down the road. I plan on going with a fairly soft spring to save the ride. I hear the H&R drop spring is the way to go? I guess its softer than the sport. I honestly wouldn't mind cutting the stockers, but I want the option of going back to stock if needed. I could do that (cut) without even removing any suspension parts...Plazma cutter FTW!!
Let the flames begin....

Yeah my wife was the same about the sound at first. She thought the car should be quiet, but as I did the exhaust mods they grew on her and she started to like the sound.
I'm not super familiar with springs on this car, but I will suggest this from pics that I have seen and the recent thread https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-tires-wheels-suspension-97/eibach-pro-kit-stock-wheels-spacers-anyone-872682/ go with Tein S or H Techs. The drop looks great and I think brings the car down more than the H&R Springs springs do.

Looks like S Techs for me! I totally overlooked that thread. Thanks for pointing it out! Lets see what the election does tomorrow..If it works out well, I may be ordering soon.
