yup yup, I remember Steven telling me this a while back:
"the trick to good use of words is to tell someone to go to hell and have them enjoy the way there"
I think you did the right thing to have Jeremy look over the mail/rewrite parts of it...you want to attack Kraftwerks with "your customer service is shitty" but also leave some room for them to compensate you in some manner....if you keep telling them they fucked up, they gonna just ignore ya....

They key is to politely make your threat "I'd hate to have to share really bad reviews"...but also to clearly state what it is that you want that'll make you happy. In this case, $40 and you smile...it'd be done.
I just kicked the cactus back at you, bitch.

More specifically---the true test is to tell someone to go to hell, but actually have them enjoy the trip!

So if all goes as planned, it looks like it should be ready for pick up tomorrow night.

Which motor mounts did you get? They break in after some mileage.

I got the Hasport 62a mounts. I've heard good an bad stories on s2ki. Mostly good though. I read one thread about a guy upping the rpm by 100 and it took away the vibration so I was going to try that out right off the bat, even though the mounts will break in after some miles are put on them.

Lmao, sorry guys, between this dog and work I haven't had much time for pics or videos yet. I have a busy weekend coming up, but I'm going to do my best to try and wash the car and get some pics/videos for everyone.
But other than that, the car is fantastic! With the new motor mounts the shifting has improved drastically. It's so smooth and precise. The car has such a solid feel now and the vibration at idle is very minimal since they turned it up to 1,100rpm. And talk about fast, whew, it's actually a little scary. I haven't really gunned it from first gear, but did from second once and the rpms shoot up so fast you better be able to shift quick to avoid hitting the limiter. I feel like this is close to how the car should have come standard from the factory. With the improved torque it definitely feels much more nimble at lower rpm.
I thought the SC would have been a little more quiet based on what others have said about this kit, but I think it's pretty loud. And when I listen to other videos online with this kit or other kits, mine definitely sounds louder.
The BOV sounds decent, but since a SC is always producing boost, in lower rpm shifting it sounds kinda like the BOV is leaking. When you gun it and shift, it has a more distinct whoosh and crisp cutoff.
Overall I'm really happy though. The car is a beast and so much more fun to drive now.

Chip, thats fucking awesome...I think a SC is definitely the way to go with these cars...boost at low rpm and the insane acceleration is something not to mess around with...am glad you are enjoying it buddy...

The mounts should break in after a while. I have 75a and the car vibrated pretty strong at first with the A/C on, strong enough to rattle the keys in the ignition and just make it a bit uncomfortable and this went on for weeks, but I stuck to it, and after ~2-3 months it went away (I drive less than 20miles a day). Feels fine now with the A/C on, you barely feel it.

Thanks MAS!
Lmao, Adam!
Thanks Anil, it's a blast.
It sure is man. It was a long road, but the end result is fantastic and worth the wait.
Thanks Steven!
Torque is at 281, but after all it is a Honda, so poopy TQ. I will say that the now even in the lower rpm ranges it a lot more peppy so you don't have to live in vtec to have a fun car.
I've already gotten used to them and honestly they really aren't that bad. Wayne even put a thin piece of foam rubber between the mount and the frame to reduce some vibration as well as raise the rpms to 1,100. The only time I really notice the mounts is when putting the top up or down when the car draws extra power. I get a little bit of extra vibration then, but that about it. Haven't tried it with the AC on yet, but I guess I should.

Ok now onto what everyone has been asking for. PICTURES!! I don't have any video yet because I'm thinking of getting a GoPro instead of using my cell phone.
I know some of the angles are very similar in some of the pics, but when deciding which one to pick, I couldn't choose. Hope you guys enjoy them!

I'll have some videos in a week or so. I just bought a GoPro Hero from eBay and a windscreen mount for it from Modifry.
Thanks brother . You sure did give me an awesome starting point for sure. I'm glad I could make you proud at what it has become.
