So ... I'm lazy. So shoot me?
I've been doing some work to the car. I went to ohio two weeks ago. I had to get all that nasty salt off. This is the third wash and it's still dirty. It's been too cold to do it by hand.
Anyways on to some pics.
I took off the mudguards and this came out:

Then I took her to the car wash - sorry no tripod tonight:

Wait ... something is different. I can't quite put my finger on it. Wheels are on winter mode!
I get home and go to unplug my garage radio and see this:

I haven't done an update in a while ...
A friend dropped by in his S15 so I decided to take some pics. The cars are dirty as hell. So is my garage.![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Ohh that looks like fun. but why did u have to take them apart in 3 pcs? I dont think u had to do that. Couldnt u have just taken the nuts/bolts off and slip the face out from the lip and the barrel (still attatched by the silicone)? anywayz. Im sure u know what ur doing but make comeplete and utter sure u seal it really good with a fat bead of silicone. It would suck u seal it all up bolt them all together mount the tires and BAM, its leaking. haha then ud have to take the tires off and reseal. maybe even have to take them apart again. best of luck. seems like fun haha

Can anyone help me out here? I need to buy tires for these. I want a slight stretch to help avoid rubbing. I don't want a huge stretch. I believe I had 245/35/19 before. If all else fails, that is what I will order again.
wheels are 19x8.5 maybe a 235/45/19??? HELP!

1) He's probably painting the lip.
2) Even if he isn't, these wheels are old and from up north, they probably could use fresh silicone.
3) It's not hard to run a bead of silicone, anyway.
4) 235's with a skinny tire will have some stretch. If you want more than that, get 225's.
5) Looking forward to the end result, save the stretched tires.

4. hrrrmmmmm more details? 235/35?
5. SLIGHT stretch! For me, this will be to avoid rubbing/destroying the tires. They were stretched on a 245!

Really? My 245 Proxes 4 fit fine; the 245 Eagle F1 I have is wide. From personal experience and/or observation, I'd consider Toyos (Proxes 4, T1R's) and General's (Exclaims) to be skinny tires. Goodyear's (F1's, DS-G3's) seem to be wide. 245mm = 8.5 inches, making that the most appropriate size. However, 235's are fine. Personally, I wouldn't go any smaller.

^You have to remember, when I say I wouldn't go any lower, it's because I hate stretched tires. Plenty of people have the type of stretch 215's on x8.5 will give you; however, that will be more than a "slight stretch".
And I see you edited your other post. Something not done before, huh? I have the feeling I'm right...now what colors everything will be
...
However it turns out, I'm looking forward to seeing the end result.
