Lowered my car on H&R Sports - all comments welcome
What's up Azine? Just got my 2007 NBP Acura TL a couple of weeks ago.. and the modding bug has started lol.. I bought some H&R Sport Springs from a member on here and put 'em on yesterday.. This was my first mod and I'm pretty happy with it.. I was looking to go a little lower - but for now.. it's perfect for me.. Tomorrow - my AEM V2 is coming in and my window visors.. I'll be sure to add pics when possible.. I'd like to hear all comments - positive & negative and what you guys think I should do.. Thanks and on to the pics..

A subtle drop is always one of the best looking mods on any car. If I have my way, I'll be dropping my cars until they tear the license out of my hands because I'm too old to drive.
Edit: lmao because your pooch is droppin' a deuce. Don't forget to pick it up before you mow the lawn.

Looking good man! I just dropped my car two weeks ago and it's probably the best thing I've done to my car. Like Blackura said, they need a little time to settle. Mine took about 3 days to fully settle.
I may have already asked you, but where in NC are you? I'm organizing a meet for late April in Raleigh. Keep you eyes open in the Southeastern Region thread

Or maybe not?
I'm terrible with remembering who I've talked to and who I haven't

Hey, I have the Ron Jon 19's and i'm in desperate need of a drop. I have about a 2 inch gap on the front, and i've been thinking of getting the H&R Sport Springs. Do I need to buy the Koni Yellow suspension or will it work with stock? I'm at about 75K miles, and i'm wondering if i should just do them both at the same time. Any advice anyone?
Here's a shot of my car..

^You can put springs on your stock shocks, but you run the risk of the stock shocks blowing prematurely.
I have a set of TEIN S-Tech springs on my stock shocks and I have no complaints. Eventually I'll get some new shocks or get a set of coil overs.
If I were you, I would go ahead and get new shocks so you don't have to worry about it later on.

Linnie, I know this is a visual thing, and nothing replaces a drop, but if you got an Aspec kit, it would give you a lower look because the kit brings the front end of the nose lower to the ground.

I'm just trying to do this right. I appreciate the tips. Ok, so the "Right" way to go is doing a set of coilovers for my springs and shocks. Possibly the Tein SuperSport? Is there a cheaper way? I was quoted about $1200 for this. I'm just not made of money.
Also, what would the ASpec kit run me? I love the look of the kit.

Updates!
Since the beginning of this thread, I've done aaaalllooootttttt more to the car.. So far my mod-list consists of: AEM V2 CAI, Greddy Evo II Catback, PCD's, Jpipe, 18" XXR wheels, LED Footwell Lighting, 35% tint, and H&R Race Springs.. I'm looking for a deal so that I can lower my car more, but ya know how that goes.. Anyway, on to the pictures..
I know I needed tire shine kinda bad lol, but I put it on after the pictures.. :/ I know, dumb lol.. But let me know what you guys think!!

get some tein basic coilovers next, got mine for 700 shipped from heeltoe and you can lower up to 3 inches and not have to worry about your shocks blowing because its all new suspension!

Wheels aren't my style...but I'm glad you made this thread. I'm going to be picking up some H&R Sport Springs from my buddy in a couple months...how low did they eventually settle? Is it an even drop? If the back is lower than the front
