base tails look great.... when they are off... but for some reason, the pink color really bothers me when they illuminate.. any plans to rip em apart? change LED boards or something?

The base tails look sick on NBP. Your car is looking right!

I laughed a bit when you said you couldn't find the bend in one of the rims! Don't know why I thought it was funny, but as long as it is causing no harm, you're good to go!

I'll be following ballin's track, if you take a look at this pic of his ride, he tinted the red all black leaving the white. that's the look im going for.

hey ballin, were the tail light tints ever on your car? that pic was under photoshopped... and i've never seen em in your threads

The car looks good.
Props to another clean NBP.

also, what did you do to the amber in the headlights?
Did you tint it or just paint it black?

he actually dremmeled off the clear plastic parts that hold the amber in.. the amber lense in the type s will "pop" right off the clear diffuser, but it leaves two big ugly holes... so he dremmelled off the corner portion

I feel the exact opposite. They bother me when they are off, but look pretty good when they're on.

and bforbrian, I bow down to your headlights.

^looks good Brian.
So basically the whole diffuser on the type-s lights are clear and just that part has the removable amber part that you have to dremel out so you dont break the tab?
I think Im gonna go this route cause I like how the diffuser looks.

So here are more pics to clarify:

04-06 diffuser compared with the amber from 07-08 type s

the dremel is in where the clear part was, which held the amber pieces together. I dremeled that out so you don't see two rectangular clear pieces.

how it looks on the car:

BEHIND the diffuser is where it was painted.

I dont usually like that kind of Ronjon rims, but that looks good on you're car. It matches well with your car.
