Kwik2's build thread....hopefully goes on for a while
Hello everyone!
I'm fairly new to A-zine as a poster, but been trolling this thread for a while. Its honestly been probably 5+ years since I had a car I was modifying. Feels a bit fun again.
My old favorite:
2001 AP1
267RWHP (NA)
2.7 liter stroker setup
One of the first sets of TE37's in the states when I had these
I use to be a function type person. Motor work was always most important to me, but it got old real fast. I've had all motor setups and turbo setups for a while, and wanted to just drive and be able to drink my cup of coffee in traffic :P So I got a 08 TL-S...
Anyways, after trolling this forum for awhile, I caught the bug again. I started the ordering of parts last week.
I would like to thank JayVee and Ebelp for a lot of help via PM's on some advice and help on the TL.
First on the menu so far. I ordered these literally 2 day ago, and I'd like to thank Josh from XLR8 for getting me taken care of so quick
Small teasers.
more to come soon

Nice s2000. I love s2000s.
What size TEs are you going to put on the TL-S?!

this forum is so welcoming. Love it!
yes I am in the dmv. I worked at inlinepro a bit ago. It was fun. I helped do the machine and build on my stroker motor.
as for the TE37s. It'll be later this year. Got some cheapies for now and for the weather.

Kwik those lugs will rust. I know from personal experience. To prevent rust do what I did. Coat the inside of the lugs with car wax. Also clean the studs really well with brake cleaner. After you install the lugs put more wax on the inside from what the key wipes away when tightening.
And good move on the ISC coils. I have them and love the way the car rides!

Yea - I figured, thanks! Didn't like aluminum lugs from before, so I went with some steel ones. anti-seize is my friend

Glad I could help. Can't wait to see all the "after" pics. Where are you located, if you're on the east coast you should try to make it to some of the meets this spring/summer.

yes. I know the car is filthy. Weather in VA is weird. Rain, snow, sunny...
I started on a few installations tonight. So far VERY happy with the way it looks. OEM Lip kit will be installed soon with the exhaust. Cat bolts were rusted beyond recognition so I gotta spend some time with it.
ISC Coilovers. awesome setup, awesome ride quality. Still some tweeks I have to dial in but awesome!
XXR 530's on. Loving the look and the "stance" I guess you would say. Thanks again JayVee and Ebelp on the help with fitment.
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics tonight. It was 2am when finished. Once the weather is better, and I get my new camera, it'll be time for an EndlessMinds photoshoot again
More to come!
was able to get the ijdmtoy DRL led's in.
