Koni and H&R instal, took some pics

Before work got started I shot this.

Put it up on stands, took the wheels off and began pulling the strut bar.

Pulled the back seats, not so hard coming out but fucking miserable going back in.

You have to take the back seats out to access this..

Pulled the rears.

Then the fronts.

This in my opinion was the most labor intensive part.

Heres a shot of the fronts together.

Fronts installed.

Quick shot of the rears.

and now shes sittin a little lower

I just wanted to share this with you guys. Man the drive home was great. What a different feel. Little stiff but Ill make adjustments if I have to. I cut holes in my strut bar for the fronts, but damn if I have to take the back seats out again.

How low is the drop? From the pics, it doesn't look much lower than A-spec.

Looks like you had fun! Great pics, it can really help those who are on the fence about installing themselves

Do you have anymore pics of you changing the top hats? I might try to attempt this myself if i change to Teins

Looks awesome! Can't wait to see the complete setup with rims. After looking at my A-Spec suspension set up, I was thinking about something a little lower. I may do this later when I need to replace my suspension.

yeah its a bit lower in the front, but not by much. I really do like the way it looks.

velfarre, it is pretty stiff, but to be honest its really not that bad. you do sacrifice a little comfort but the car drives like night and day...

The camber in the back is only out by a half of a degree on one tire. So in my opinion I dont need a camber kit. Our cars come with some negative camber to begin with. Me being only 1/2 of a degree out just means I have a little more negative camber.

So basically I may have some wear on the inside of my rear tires but very little. As long as I rotate them often I will not have any issues.

If you are just going with Eibach I think you'll be fine. But if you put the Eibachs with the koni's your fronts will sit a bit higher so I think you'd have to lower the perch's.

Thumbs up

Nice set up.I love Koni shocks. Does this mean that the rear seats have to come out everytime to adjust firmness in the rear shocks?

yes unfortunitaly it does

Im sure theres a way you could prevent it but I think that would involved drilling a hole on the back deck. Which really wouldnt be a problem to be honest. I just didnt feel like it at the time..
