19's would be money but im not that extreme with the low offset. it def looks like major fender stretching needs to be done and i only plan to roll the rears.

Hmmm, What makes a certain wheel "fake"?

Are work wheels fake in your eyes?? I mean the meisters are an EXACT replica of the SSR professors, right?!

Haha, he has a point. Putting staggered replicas on a FWD car doesn't make sense, but in my defense, some people prefer form over function, like myself.

SSR SP1's btw look close to Meister S1's but are very different wheels.

But compare a Leon Orden wheel and a Work Euroline SL, or even a Maya DTS and a Rays Lexion 203. I think the difference between all of these said wheels and replicas are pretty easy to distinguish though, lol.

i guess people compare the quality of it. i can see why he feels they are fake because its not forged and weighs more but for the price people pay for volks makes the Vorsteinns look cheap.

honestly theres so many rims out there its hard to really make a design that much more different than the next and not everyone knows what a top brandname rim is anyways. usually only autoenthusiats know something about volks and such. Like most of the other non enthusiast TL owners out in the world probably cant tell the difference between real TEs and fake TEs.

ive seen many people in audis drive with Fake RS4 rims but i cant even tell unless they tell me. quality is off but looks wise its a perfect match

I wish they had better offset for our cars. I just bought some rims so these might be next wheels when they come with better offset.

If you don't think these wheels are fake/knockoff, then why did you put it in the title of your thread? ...

I don't think it's the fact these look exactly like the Volk TEs is why people are calling them fake. It's because they are made by an unknown company and are simple cast aluminum. Volk TE37s are forged, extremely well made, and are extremely lightweight. These wheels are the complete opposite of all 3 of those characteristics (i'm sure they aren't crap, tho).

And giving the example of Work Meisters to SSR Professors is completely irrelevant here. Both Work and SSR are very well known and highly regarded wheel companies who both make high quality wheels. So you cannot use that comparison here...

Whether you like it or not, these wheels are fake/knockoff versions of the Volk TE37s.

EDIT: I just want to point out that I have nothing against these wheels or anyone buying them, I actually think that Teal color they have is . I may consider picking up a set for the hell of it.

Evan, not a bad chop, but the tires will never tuck under your fenders as you have shown in the picture, unless you get their really conservative sizes, i.e. 18x8 +35.

But with the 18x9 +15, you'll need to stretch the tires and it will not tuck like that.

I thought id never see the day when Brian would choose knockoff wheels over quality wheels that he has had. But there must be a good reason for this. If it were me id buy the real deal te-37's but thats just me

Running 225/40/18 Hankook Ventus HRIIs. From what I hear, they have a sidewall equivalent to the Falken 512s so I would need the most stretchy and narrow running tires I can. I just can't do 215s =[ not on a TL lol

exactly why you spend more money wheel whoring than settling on a quality wheel and stickin with it. I know its hard to stick with one wheel as i keep wanting to change the look as well, but settling down with a quality wheel is better than a knockoff wheel
