Updated Shots!
OK, had some time to get some real pictures taken today, so here we go. Nothing artistic as I wouldn't even call myself an amateur photographer, but hopefully they'll do!

Thanks man! These are ebony a specs, but they were just powdercoated this week. It's a really close match to the original ebony. In the sun they really shine and look brighter tho, which is why they look silver sometimes.

Here is a shot out of the direct sunlight, with a pug photobombing
Shows the actual color a little better. Although I agree, it certainly can look pretty silver at times, like this shot in direct sunlight:
In the shadows, they actually look a little like the gunmetal to me as well:

Also, to answer the other questions - I'd like to paint the calipers, but I may not end up getting around to it this season. We'll see, maybe I'll get motivated.
And no, no issues whatsoever with the iJDMTOY DRLs. Easy to install, working ever since. go for it!

Thanks. Those wheels you have now are another favorite of mine. Those and the XXR 530s are the other wheels I like a lot. But I'm happy with the clean look of the A-specs.
Thanks man. I spent a lot of time researching and planning out what I would need to get it to look this way. Including lots of questions to this next guy!
Thanks! Your car made the decision for the springs for me. I had always assumed you were on coilovers since I thought your drop looked perfect. When I found out you had the s techs, I knew that was the spring I wanted. They just look so perfect with the A-Specs too I think.
Also, your advice was spot on. I rolled the rear fenders, didn't touch the fronts, and I have no issues rubbing with my 15/20mm spacers and 245/40/18s.

Little update...Picked up some 6K HIDs and fogs to match my switchbacks and DRLs. Now all the lights up front match
I wish I had a better camera to actually capture a decent picture of them, but here is what I could snap last night. I've also realized that I think I need to re-aim my headlights after lowering the car, I think they are too low now.

I think you'd be happy. Yeah you can't adjust them, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't get around to adjusting them often anyway. Plus, I think the drop is pretty spot on and doesn't really need any adjustment. However, the ride can be a little rough on stock shocks when you hit bigger bumps.
Thanks Steven! What's your next update?

You know how the windows roll down when you hold the button on the key fob down? The KP Technologies mod rolls your windows back up.

I wish...definitely not that mechanically inclined, nor do I know the right people apparently. I went to One 6 motorsports, in Elk Grove Village I think it is. Great price on the spring install, especially compared to every other shop I called, and no complaints about the work they did.

The car and the lights are looking good. They turned out to be a project....but hey I bet you feel satisfied knowing that you did everything yourself!
Forgot to answer your text, fix the oxidizing on the headlight, the yellowness it causes can change the color output.

So I finally decided to stop being lazy and just get this headlight restoration project done last night. Turned out great! Its not quite perfect, but I would say its a good 95% better. Now that I've done it once, I could probably do an even better job next time, which hopefully won't be for a long time
I used the 3M kit with drill attachments, and I used a Blue Magic Headlight Sealer. I know its kind of an off-brand, but I figured their carpet treatment somehow works wonders, so maybe this will too. Amazon reviews were pretty similar to the meguiar's, so I figured why not. Plus, its so easy to apply, I can just toss some on every few weeks after a wash.

Looks great! Any idea how long that will last? Had mine done by someone and it only lasted a couple months, it's yellow again and I'm pissed.

Well done KJ. By the way, I ordered the window roll-up mod and I'm still waiting for it.
