And my tires are about as beefy as I can manage at 235/35 and 245/35. I already rub a bit in front at full tilt, and in back I've rubbed with a full car going over bumps.
Thanks Austin! Two sets of TE37s for sale on the Black Market, go get you some!
Quick edit to pull pictures to new page:
Now yesterday's pics:
JnC's work, and the VLED 10 CREE DRLs. These bulbs behind the lenses just creates a nice, full white, and no hot spots from individual LEDs. Very happy with them.
Cleaned the inside barrels too after seeing I think Rockstar do it awhile back, and it is definitely part of my routine now. Helps that it is easy as could be with these wheels!

looks awesome Kurt....
I dont think I have ever cleaned my wheel barrels from running an aggressive pad and rotor, I get a ton of brake dust, I usually have to clean the rims again just from the drive from the wand wash to home LOL....

Yea, the two wheels that hadn't recently been refinished were filthy. I'm sure over time that would add up to some measurable weight. I have one of those long wheel brushes that I use only for the inner barrels. I'm thinking that if I do it somewhat regularly, they shouldnt get too dirty tho. My brakemotive setup barely produces any dust, so it would just be road grime coming off of them.
I also need to figure out my hoseless wash method. That last hand wash when it was in the low 40s was pretty cold and likely one of the last of the season. After all the hard work I've put into the paint this year, I really don't want to run it thru a regular car wash this winter, altho I'm sure its sealed enough to wishstand the occasional automatic wash if I really need to.
That said, what does anyone recommend for a hoseless wash?

Jeremy....I have no doubt in my head that you are correct....the brake dust I get is insane...I have used wheel wax and I used to clean the barrels with a brush, but since it get tons of dust and it stays clean for exactly 4 minutes of city driving, I gave up on them....since then I just clean the face of the rims and call it a day LOL...
Kurt, I normally prefer a 2 bucket wash...rinse the car, use a wash bucket and a rinse bucket, rinse the car...I feel it saves a lot of water and easy and quick....
but for those winter months....I go to a wand wash (no presoak, no soap, just rinse)....After a nice rinse and taking off most of the stuff out, I drive back home and use ONR....since you are such a GG fan, why not try their spray on car wash?

That's a good method you have there. Unfortunately, I don't think I have a wand wash anywhere near me. May have to search tho, maybe one is hiding and I've never noticed it.
I have a bottle of the spray on wash, but I worry that in order to get a good wash when the car is filthy winter style that I would end up using damn near the whole bottle. Your wand wash method would eliminate a whole lot of that tho.

Out of the many in KS, I choose this one which is right off the highway....so I rinse her down, jump on the highway and she gets air dry

Thanks man. No roof spoiler because it is still sitting in a box in the closet...where it has been for about a year now. Ordered it, then couldn't decide...then just never did anything with it. Maybe one day.
Yea, freezing would be my concern too. Then again, I suppose it would just thaw out in the garage and then I could get it with OCR.
Thanks man, I'm really happy with the rims. Thankfully enough so to keep me from thinking about those Volks. There's a few sets of TE37s on the black market right now actually, hopefully someone picks em up and posts some pics.
I do that during the winter but sometimes its too damn cold and by the time i get home after a good rinse, everything is frozen on the car. And the car wash i go is like 10-15 min from my house

Drove around a sparkling clean car and enjoyed it! Now that it is clayed and sealed, I think the only thing that will be changing in the upcoming weeks will be putting the OEM all-season mats back in, and I suppose throwing the A-Specs back on at some point before it snows.
Maybe some 5000K switchbacks tho....still bugs me that I haven't changed those bulbs to match the new setup.

Thanks for the kind words guys.
Ricky - its a random location I saw while driving west on I-90. Got off at Barrington Road when I saw some red trees. Found this road that goes through a business park, and the road was essentially empty, hardly any cars drove by. Made for a relaxing shoot!

After the issues with the wheels and camber kits, I decided not to put any more into it this year. Still on my list tho...

Thanks guys! I'm starting to think I was stupid to consider trading it for a 4G. This is just such a clean, low-mileage example of a Type S. It would be hard to think about someone else driving it instead...

If you didn't work there, you've probably never been there. It was just a road off I90 that caught my eye so i got off the highway to investigate.
