I purchased this about two months ago its a 2006 6 speed w/navi NPB. I was kind of hesistant at first since my old TL was SSM which is my first choice in color but Im starting to like the NPB more and more everyday. alright enough here are the pics. Oh and I got the type-s wheels free from my dealer since it was my second purchase from him. I like them better than the stock 5 star wheels it came with.

Welcome to the Land of NBP!

I know you can't wait to repace those OEM honeycombs. As long as you like gold, it is a nice touch. But you must actually LIKE it, and not do it "just to see", in order to appreciate them and keep them. Feel me? What about getting the honeycombs powdercoate gold? I think you would be first on that, and a cheap way to find out if gold is really what you want!

As for which ones as far as buying some gold rims...that's like the Capital One commercial:

anyway here are some ideas in the gold category, I love the idea I was going to go gold or bronze with my nbp ended up going black with a red pinstripe (Axis Super Hiro to be exact)

Axis Halo ($250 a Pop, not too bad, has a black pinstripe on the lip)

Halo looks pretty good if you wanna go gold. Volks are hella nice as well.

I was looking at the Super's you are getting Stillhere, and the stripe looks wider than on these. You think you gonna like that long term? I thought RJ's stripe was pushing it, but that one is wider.

I like the look of the axis reverb. Would you by any chance know the specs on these wheels I want a staggered look. I was totally against this at first knowing that the TL is front wheel drive and all but after checking out some of the rides on here with the staggered look Im feeling it. I would like if possible 20's all the way around and may be a 10.5 rear 9.5 in the front if thats even possible. I talked to my cousin about getting the honeycombs painted gold he said he could get them powercoated for about 100 a pop he used to work at a place called Keystone thats where they repair and manufacture oem wheels. So maybe if i find four steelies that i could throw on so that I could mail my wheels to him and he gets them back to me. Thats a maybe but Im very curious to see what the would look like in gold. I was personally thinking getting the face powedcoated gold and the inside black but we'll see.

Check out streetdreams.org for the specs on the axis I believe the biggest size the reverb come in is 19x9.5 but I may be wrong they could possibly come in a 19x10.5 as well... in any even the biggest you could go on the rear is 19x9.5 with a +35 offset, anything above that will yield rubbing and other issues...

Ps. Yo dark my nbp brother from another mother... they give choices on the thickness of the stripe 6mm 8mm or 10mm... I went with the 8mm... and um the stripes are pretty much painted by hand literally as I have to wait for them to paint em before they ship em... if I don't like the stripes thickness I will just redo it with some black duplicolor on top of that redo the red and spray it with some clearcoat.... I am patiently waiting for them to arrive
