Just a teaser of what's to come (RJ 1pf painted black on Anthracite)

Hi all,

I got my RJ 1pf Devotions painted and installed along with my new General Exclaim UHP tires yesterday. Here are a few teaser pics. I say they are teaser pics because my car is still far from done.

I think I may be the first Anthracite to put the 19" new 1pF Devotions painted black, so I thought I'd give you guys a look see anyway.

I've ordered the Tein SS but they are on backorder all over North America for 3 or 4 weeks. I've also got the Comptech RSB on its way. Those will go on as soon as I receive them, so I'll be able to lower the car cuz these pictures show how much it is needed.

I've also got to put my RJ front bumper back on. I've also got to paint all the trim pieces black including the RJ grills.

So I have my work cut out for me, but in the meantime, here are a few teaser pics:

What do you all think?

I will I had just come back from the garage where the wheels were installed. I'll be cleaning and shining this weekend hopefully. But really, like I said, these pics are just a teaser. The real pics will come when everything else is finished. Just wanted to get people's impressions of the black 1pf RonJons.

Yup, it's smoked. I used the film from Rockblocker. Great stuff. http://www.rockblocker.com. Also did my tail lights using the same film.

It's cool to see that there are two schools of thought. I did debate the whole polished-lip thing, but decided not to do it because I wanted to be as little bling as possible. And just to let y'all know, this car is far from finished. Still lots to do. But I'll be posting pics in a month and I'm telling you, it's gonna be awesome.

Damn, that looks sooo aggressive, ,can't wait to see the whole thing done. you're gonna have to paint the mesh on your bumper black too, and possibly clear/black out the headlights for a menacing look. Feel any difference driving them? Were they powdercoated?

Thanks Ron,

I've already got the paint and was planning on painting all the mesh and trim pieces tomorrow if the weather is nice. My RJ bumper was stored for winter and I've already taken the mesh off. The headlights were cleared and blacked out at the beginning of winter, so they are ready to go!

I feel a slight difference driving. The bumps are a little more jerky but not aggressive at all. I kinda like it. The Tein SS will make a bigger difference I think.

I had the wheels painted with one coat of paint, and two coats of clear. They are guaranteed for a year and the job was incredible, I was very impressed.

Like I said, this thread really was a teaser... once the whole car is finished, it's going to be a completely different animal, I can HARDLY wait!! Just wish the Tein wasn't backordered for a month.
