I was a bit unsure from the other member's pics [too dark to see detail]

I have the same one- great color match and it fits well- it has to be slightly bent into an arc to follow the contour of the rear glass-I used additional 3M tape in the middle of the 2 tape strips on the spoiler instead of using the adhesion promoter- it's really on there- it doesn't feel like it will ever come off. The 3M is very strong.

I recommend having another person to help put this on. It is kind of hard to bend it to the curve of the roof line.

Overall Yes, BUT I thought I would get more overhang like the ATLP spoiler. $100 vs $400. I can't complain. Now i just have to change the decklid and then i think it will flow better.

I am still not sure what to do with the rear, I am thinking of black chrome emblems and i might try to paint the piece above the plate black chrome as well. Still not sure tomorrow I will try it out on my old emblems and see how they look.

Thanks for asking Steven.

Well, look at it this way....it's VERY unique. It doesn't look like anything anyone else has.

Strange. Usually the ebay roof spoilers I've seen are curved away the glass to give off that aerodynamic "look". Honestly, yours looks like it's just an extra piece of trim going across the back glass...it doesn't resemble a spoiler at all. I like the subtle look, but this one is too subtle.

looks great, i think the atlp v2 is TOO big. this is small, and ads that little something without being too crazy. ordering mine real soon.

i see that he has it listed 3 different times with 3 different prices, so i e-mailed kyonick to see what the difference is. either way, looks good.

I think they are all the same spoilers but are trying to see if you are willing to pay more for the same item. I emailed him asking for the price of an unpainted one but he quoted me more than one he was selling a painted one for.

I got the same thing from my brother for christmas. Real cheap. Looks pretty good though.

I got the different design, I feel it matches with the trunk spoiler very well. But I must say that the paint does not match up as well as I would have hoped; the spoiler is a bit darker than the car. Like others, I used more 3m tape...shit works wonders!

Sorry, crappy phone pics

Yeah, that's some poor color matching. The spoiler looks like a dark shade of pink.

This picture doesn't do it justice. Its actually a tad bit darker than my car. I'm thinking it is actual factory color like they claim, but 53k of sun, rain, UV, and snow will take its toll on a cars paint job.

i just installed my rear window spoiler from ebay (kyonick), got it for a little over $90, he gave me 10% off since there was a delay. it looks really good. i think the color matching is really good as well.

some things i noticed. the wing is rubber and flexible. once you bend it to wrap the window you can see some very fine stress marks on the spoiler where it bends, but its barely noticeable. you should have another person help install it, it makes it 10 times easier with two people.

the wing has two 3m strips that go from end to end. one on the front of the lip and one on the back. there is about a 1 inch gap with no tape, i purchased glue from home depot and put it in that area for an extra strong install. the glue i purchased said it was MARINE, but it said it was good for rubbers and glass and had only a 2 hour set time. its what the home depot guy recommended.

some pics.

I actually heated mine up a little prior to installation to make it arc a bit - using a third strip of the 3M tape really worked well for me. It's on my back window for the past few months through the winter, has been through a few car washes, and is very solidly mounted. I agree that 2 people should install it for better alignment. Color wise, my AM spoiler was a great match.

^^ I kept mine in my house before I installed it.

Carlos: can you take a picture of the gap because I did not notice any sort of gap in mine?

Redwhip: The spoiler you posted is different from the one I got.

^^ here.

I really like RedWhips' style but this is the second TL im seeing with this type of spoiler and the color matching is way off. I guess i'll just stay roof spoiler-less.

im not sure which gap you are talking about. the spoiler goes from side to side perfectly. there can be a gap between the front of the spoiler and your roof depending on how you install it. if you place it as far forward as possible to not have a gap, half of the 3m tape will be hanging over the window. i wanted both strips of 3m tape to be completely on the glass so i pulled the spoiler back a bit and i do i have a very SMALL gap between the roof and window. (i do not think it looks bad). all the little gaps and miss alignments you see in the photo are very small and you literally have to be expecting it closely to notice them.

sorry these are at night, and from a camera phone. its all i have. side note, in the pics it seems like the color matching is off. but it might be because of the flash, or maybe because its a rubber material??? the daytime photos i took are 100 times more accurate. when you look at it in person it matches fine, both in the day and night. i have had 3 friends look at it and they all agreed the paint is spot on, down to the blue sparkles that are in the nighthawk black paint.

pretty much center of the roof best view of the gap from the spoiler and roof:

where spoiler comes to passenger side of the car:

where spoiler comes to driver side

where spoiler comes to driver side again, but from the back

center of roof again

I must have read it wrong. I thought you said there was a 1/4 inch gap.
