Good bye TL, Hello EX35,...slk i never ever drive you...

parents came over to visit...yes i know my dad is huge.

TL with a chunk of snow in the front lol

it actually just snowed that day.... kinda sad i had it detailed the day before

one more of the rear ~

i will miss seeing this in the garage

better shot of the CFFLs

haha i hate how my brother takes some awkward shots

cleared the snow! next to my dad's GL

A-spec FTMFW

A-spec 18.5 rims

favorite shot

A-pec steering wheel, no other car's wheel will ever feel like yours

GOODBYE!!

HELLO new toy, very dirty from MORE snow

even with 18" it still looks anemic... can't wait to put summer wheels on

this stance looks better

love the lines on this car

it's really sad, ive had this car since May and there's only like 3000 miles on it... lol

garagemates! NSFW rofl

inside of the SLK is snugger, but the navigation can't compare with Nissan

good bye TL you will definitely be missed.

The End

thanks! unfortunately the SLK was leased, also my main reason for selling the TL was I kept on having alot of problems with it, and I also did not have a snowmobile which is very important in NY lol

no they were wired directly to the parking lights, for the first few months of the car I always left them on in that position, so eventually the LED towers that were white shorted (i forgot who said that happened, brian maybe?)

and so i never needed a switch

Nice looking garage!

You are a lucky guy to have two great looking cars at a relatively young age

I've gotta ask though, why the EX over the TL? Better in the harsh NY winters?

the TL was kinda breaking down, problems everywhere....and yea, i don't have a suitable car for the winter in NY.

I considered the FX35 but i dont need the space, and the whole point was to buy an unassuming car for commuting...the FX...well it's a show stopper. If i really wanted to stand out the SLK does just fine. Plus, the FX35 is HEAVY, and 5k more than the EX35, right now i'm very happy with a fully loaded EX35 for 39months 15000mi/yr and i only pay $499/month.

The EX isnt even that great of a performer on snow when I test drove it for my mom last winter.

With the same amount of $, I would have a radically different lineup of cars.

But I guess different strokes for different folks.

But all that are just my $0.02, hope you're enjoying

Nice, what do you do for a living? You own your own home too in Old Westbury? Or is it your parent's pad? You're a baller. Homes there go for over 2 mil..

I need to move out of the bay area my fiancee and I are pulling well over six figures and we're still scraping for bread.

Enjoy the cars.

maybe it was a RWD model? i literally picked up the car 2 weeks ago right after the huge snow storm we had, and in Snow mode, this car rocks

omg, i didnt change my location, actually i'm in Roslyn Heights now. Which is uhh..well 1 mile away from Old Westbury...it's convinient to live near the parents and it was a good deal on the house.

I actually own a dental lab (short explanation = you goto a doctor and he gives you a Rx and u goto the pharmacy. Dentist also right Rx's but they goto the dental lab - aka me)

plus in terms of living, i actually live pretty simply, and i mean granted these aren't cheap cars, they arent exorbitantly expensive either. ~ it also helps when you file a few corporations and have tax write offs (related to work of course)

plus i'm sure you already know that living together and pooling expenses is an almost 100% guarantee that you will spend more. bay area isn't cheap either!

It's true. To be honest, I am just fishing here and I caught one. I find it mildly amusing how sensitive people are on the internet.

By the way your cars are nice. Can't say I wouldn't like to have the variety in my garage.

It's funny how the OP took my EVER-SO JEALOUS COMMENT so lightly, yet here you are pissing up a storm. I'm not even going to respond back to this you are def'n not worth the time nor the effort. You're the same guy who made a thread about himself passing really bad farts in his car for 2 straight hours, and asking for advice on how to remove the odour .... & you are 34?

- i couldn't pass emissions though i had nothing on it that would've made it fail and for the life of me could not figure out what was wrong. The EVAC + CAT were both not ready. I Did the reflash etc etc, spent a bunch of money on it, and it still wouldn't pass. I know there are ways to getting around the inspection, but the truth was i also needed a snow mobile.

the clear coat on my car started failing, and was very clear that it was shotty paint work, you could see it receding on the hood.

so i mean everything could've been addressed 1 by 1, but it all happened together and i just got disgusted. I sold it to Infiniti and racked up a sweet deal for the EX

haha thanks Al, never as good looking as blackura, UA7 or ur 4G haha, but i have to admit i will never forget how good that A-spec steering wheel felt.

i'd love to see your 4G in person some time, PM me or something

actually even though the EX35 has the same bolt on set up as the G37 coupe, somewhere ( and if anyone wants to help me figure this out) it is restricted, and it turns out the EX35 is the quietest of all infinitis...actually in an interview with Infiniti, it was found out that the 297 HP engine would have been the same 303+ like in the FX35 but it is stifled somewhere and that resulted in about a 5HP power loss

ooo trust me i seriously considered the RDX, mdx not so much. I mean i love acura and logically i also realized i could get a nice hook up considering i've already bought a car from them. on top of that the 2010 RDX is a MY refresh so they worked out alot of the kinks. Problem is i hate the rear of the RDX!!! also as fun as it is to hear the 4 banger and the spoolin, the EX35 turned out to be a MUCH more enjoyable drive/ride experience.

but thanks for the compliment
