I'm just about ready to do the same. I finally got a good porter cable and the Griots products. These pictures are nothing but inspiring! NBP looks amazing when it's perfect like that.

Klutch, beautiful pics-great job. If you don't mind me saying, I would highly suggest taking off the dealer license plate holder. Get yourself a nice ACURA TL license plate holder-just don't advertise your dealership for free-unless they're paying you to wear it!

I used all optimum products, with a PC polisher.
- Optimum Compound II
- Optimum Polish II
- Optimum Poli-Seal
- Optimum Final Polish
I bought this package, for those of you wanting to buy one. Use the code 'newbie' and i think its about 15% off.

Thanks for the suggestion, ive been wanting to get rid of the dealership one for a while, just been too lazy . On the other hand I just bought a new A-Spec badge (i dropped mines when i took it off and it got all screwed up) and im gonna put it in the bottom corner of the trunk where it belongs. I still gotta plasti-dip my grill also.

i did have a fair amount of swirls, and this was my first time detailing a vehicle. it took out most of the swirls but theres still some in there that you can only see in the sun, but otherwise paint looks fresh as hellll, wayy better than before

i dunno how you did it man. i spread my detail into 3 days (approx 5-7hrs a day) on mine. used Megs105 with Lake Country Orange Pads, and Megs205 with White pads (on only a few panels). i was only able to achieve about 50% correction. this was my first polishing job, and i have a lot more respect for you detailers now. this job is NOT easy.
