unfortunately it is a necessary evil here in CA. i used to have it in front, but the OEM mount easily falls off after a while. plus, there is no way to re-screw without using a larger and larger screw.

ahhhh why do people think an off-center totally random effed up looking license plate mount looks better than front and center? it ruins the whole car IMO. put it where it belongs and it wont stand out so much. get a decent mount and frame...and it almost looks good.

personally i think it looks good. not only is it for aesthetic purposes though as mentioned already ... functionality at its best as well ... just last week in LA some a-hole parked his/her car resting on my front plate ... i reversed, and next thing I know, my front plate fell off just like that -____-

I'm sure most if not all people would PREFER to have no front plate on, BUT again most if not all people PREFER not to have tickets up their ass ...
