Hahaha I couldn't agree more. It's been pouring all day here so no progress on the roll. If the weather doesn't calm se before dark I'm probably gonna start on the fiberglassing of my grill.

Got the rears rolled today and started on the fronts. Everything went pretty smooth for the rears once I got the hang of the roller and how to set it up etc.. Took it for a drive around the block and was happy with the rear, no rubbing or inner barrel clearance problems. The fronts however are a different story. They are proving to be a little more of a pain in the ass especially around the bumper tab area.

I hadn't noticed any driveability issues, vibrations, or noises but for some reason my skunk2 uca is rubbing on the vertical part that connects the hub to the upper control arm. Also both the balljoints were moved from where they were originally set. All the hardware was tight but the balljoint had slid from maximum negative camber to max positive camber. Im not sure if that is the cause but its rubbed hard enough to eat away at the uca. This is concerning due to the fact I've put maybe 200 miles on them. I will try and post pictures of that tomorrow in the light.

I'm severely in need of an alignment. My rear toe is beyond out of spec. The drivers rear is by far the worst. Its keyfob clearance at the front of the arch and key clearance at the rear of the wheel arch. I need to install my ingalls rear camber/toe kit but almost all my bolts for those arms are fucking frozen into the bushings so I cant get them out.

Well I encountered a problem early on this morning with some bolts rounding off.

So I had to go order two new ones from Honda, also picked up another quart of ATF while I was there. Figured with the down time I might as well add the mangnefine filter and a trans cooler. By the looks of the OEM filter it should've been done long ago.

As of right now I have the transmission fully drained, installed new 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches, also replaced the OEM spring, filter assembly.

I took pics of the switch locations, In my opinion the other DIY pics leave a little room for confusion or error.

3rd Gear

4th Gear

Here are the oem banjo fittings. Im going to swap positions of them to make the cooler install easier. Since the line feeding the cooler comes off the OEM filter housing Ill be using the rear(shorter) banjo fitting on the filter housing and flipping it to face forward so I don't have to 180 the hose coming off there. The front fitting will then be installed in the rear which allows the outlet to come towards the drivers side fender and then up along the brake lines. I personally think this positioning will work the best/look the best while being problem free.

And finally here is the pic of the damage on the UCA.

Picked up the bolts from Honda this morning, hopefully I can get the fronts rolled later this evening and get the car back down and see how my clearance is. My trans cooler, filter, lines have been shipped and should be here by Friday.

Got the front bumper/grill sanded, just needs to be laid in fiberglass.

Got my plates renewed so I wouldn't have to pay Colorado registration fees and pass inspection. Much easier to write a $150 check for new plates in Illinois lol.

My Diamond Supply Co case finally came, horrible ship time by the seller . But the case looks awesome!

Also took advantage of the nice day on Monday to go for a hike. One of the great beauties of living in Colorado

Stepped one foot off the path to setup my camera and sank to my knees in snow lol

Maybe some of you Forza Horizon players will recognize this cool little place.

Just some random updates to keep the thread going

If I show my wife the last pic, she will ask me to relocate to Colorado....If I refuse, she will pack up her shit, take my penis and balls with her....true story !!!

Plate looks awesome....wifey has Illinois plates as well and write and check and the sticker comes in the mail....no freaking tint laws, no front plate shit, no annual property taxes....IL FTMFW !!!

I was thinking of converting my tags to IL tags as well....lets see how that goes

Lol I don't know why you would wanna disagree with her! Kansas is a flat and boring

Illinois does have some of the most convenient/lenient vehicle laws. No inspections, loud exhaust hassles etc. The front windows by law are supposed to be tinted 35% or less without a medical condition. But I always had 15% with no issues, front plate is required to. But since I live in Colorado for school I don't rock the front plate. I'd love to see a Colorado police officer write me a ticket for an Illinois law .

Yup! I think it's a pretty cool little place, Idaho Springs is the name of the town where it's at, the roads are all normal and paved though lol. No crazy dirt roads like the game.

Lol I like having outta state plates, with as many little stupid laws I break driving out here I like being able to blame my driving on out of state ignorance .

So many places out here have no turn on reds and those stupid one way turns leaving parking lots, the v shaped ones. So damn annoying lol

Since your TL is so roadtrip savvy you should bring it up to the Rockies for a NBP shoot lol . Plenty of good food and sights!

If I remeber correctly it was under $100 bucks to relocate my coolant and PS reservoir. That including PS fluid, all new lines, and a new coolant reservoir. Lets doooo it

Lol you would have to raise your car so high in the rear to clear your quarters then!

Some parts for the trans cooler came today. My magnefine filter and my push lock fittings for the cooler.

Don't mind lunch in the background

Correct me if I'm wrong but especially in your area isn't it a very bad idea to block off coolant TB lines ? I was told that keeps ice from forming. Just a thought.

I've always heard that but after a winters worth of driving I noticed zero issues. So I guess it depends on just how cold your TL is getting. I can vouch for no issues down to at least zero.

Looking forward to seeing your ride in person dude! Looks like some crazy wheel setup for sure. I'll have pics of my summer wheel setup put up on my thread this weekend...been lazy with that

I would suggest not blocking off the coolant return to the intake, just saying. I don't know if it will freeze in below zero if you do, but I don't want to take that chance. I've had the AEM V2 cold air intake on my ride for years now & full coolant hose/return hookup...no issues at all. That's just my thought.

Oh, and gloss CF vinyl centercaps get my vote!

Hope you get the alignment & UCA stuff figured out soon. I should get an alignment too now that I think about it...

Are you running different wheels than your Ron Jons? I'm lovin your brakes, I'm in dire need of a BBK lol.

The TB Coolant bypass was done while I was living in Illinois last spring/summer. Never un-did it when I moved. It was still hot enough to have heat soak issues out here till winter hit. My car stays garaged most of the time so that's not really a biggie. My car has suffered worse problems, lol.

Gonna try and finish up the fenders tomorrow and get her completely drivable. Gonna try and experiment with a few things and see if I can fix the UCA problem.

Car show this weekend, maybe I will see you there!

My hose came today for the Trans Cooler. From the looks of things I should have plenty of length.

Yeah, I'm rocking RonJons still...just a different set for summer They're sick, that's all I gotta say.

Hooters car show is fun, I went last time & it was pretty chill (nice sights too if you get my drift . You get a mix of a lot of different rides there. I was the only TL (as usual), but there was a really nice NSX that showed up along with a ton of other nice cars. I'll swing by for sure, hope you get the car drivable and can make it out man.

I'm not familiar with model names of them so I couldn't tell ya which I've seen lol.

Was it a champagne colored nsx on polished wheels? If so he lives right by me up here in Greeley. I should have the TL there 99% sure, even if I have to go mismatched parts and wheels lol

My numbers 985-768-8823 just hit me up anytime man. I'll also be down there Thursday night for the F&F 6 meet

Not a problem my friend. Do I need to bring it with? Or do I like need to bring it over Friday night

Got the wheels on but still not 100% dialed in

Fronts need to be raised about another 1/4" and the control arm needs to be notched a little bit more.

What part of illinois you from? I live in the Kankakee area. Also, what rear camber kit are you running? I'm in need of one bad with my new 18x10.5 +22 rears and a 245/40/18 tire.

I lived in Salem.. About 45minutes south of Effingham. I went through Kankee last summer on the way to Chicago. I remember taking this side road that runs parallel with I-57 that was nothing but 1-3 mile straightaways with 90degree corners put in there. Pretty fun little road.

You have the size I was supposed to have gotten . But mishaps led a +15 set into my life instead. For the rear I'm only running the upper camber kit. The one with the balljoint on it. I'm running the sick speed one, nothing special $100 on eBay. It allows for all the negative adjustability you can get before hitting the strut. That's my current issue, I'm dragging or Just barely touching the locking collar now and I have about 5mm of clearance between tire and fender. Boo

They're called the Vega. Have some pics now on my thread if you'd like to check it out https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...=806363&page=4

The NSX that was there was a silver one with some nice iForged wheels...think it was a 2004.

So I probably won't make it out to the Hooters meet today, plans changed a bit. Have fun if you end up going. Might go to the big cars & coffee meet up in Lafayette on 6/1, we'll see. It's a really big show with a great variety of cars from classic to exotic & pretty much everything in between. Planning to do a good detail on my car and my buddy's GTR that day, we'll see how things shake out. Hope you get your UCA issue & camber fixed man...that setup looks crazy!

We'll have to talk about where & what time to meet up to cruise out to KC soon. I'll be in FL from next Wednesday to the following Wednesday, but back in town for a bit before we cruise out.

Ill head over and check it out . Dunno if I'll be making the meet either, don't wanna drive that far quite yet. Still not 100% dialed in. If I go it'll be as a spectator only.

Cars and Coffee is my deadline for the TL right now. I'm wanting to have everything dialed in for that meet so the last week before the azine meet isn't jam packed with shit to do. I hope to have no issues by then .

Went to buffalo wild wings today for lunch, they were having a car show in the parking lot so I entered the TL for shits and giggles. Won best project lol

Got the Trans cooler on and running fine, just need to order new lines to make the install cleaner. I was sent the wrong size -an lines so it is kinda a hack job right now. I'll be mounting the cooler to the core support inside the grill area to. It just so happened to fit perfectly where its at for the time being.

And the money shot

Thanks broski Feels so good just to drive her again especially with the new wheels and stuff.

There are a couple things you won't be seeing on here till after the meet hehe . I guess you'll get to peep them Friday night though :P.

Made my little switch plate for my (Demon Eyes, Puddle Lights,&Tailgater Switch)

Fits perfect and allows full operation of the switches and console door.
