Time for an update !
I finally take time to install the 03-06 MDX intake spacer + p2r gasket ...
step 1 after take off the intake .. put the p2r gasket
step 2. Put the mdx intake spacer
step 3. put a new oem gasket
step 4 replace the intake with the MDX bolt
step 5. put everything back in place, you will need to replace some hose ( not do on these pic ) because they are too short
Step 6. Put 6mm spacer for lift a bit the hood, take off the 'foam' in the hood, hit the ( tap ? .. ) the strut bar, hit the hood ( inside ) if you don't do it, the intake touch the hood and make vibrations inside the car....
And the result on the performance ... the car is realy more 'torquy' ?? ... at 1500 to 3500rpm !

Nice work, Jobe! Have you fixed your exhaust yet? FYI, the "fart can" sound is also known as "rasp".

Jobe, I should have asked before, do you have ported and polished manifold and runners?
I felt loss of power since I had ported and polished manifold and runners along with the MDX spacer

Not yet ! I try to find a solution ... buy a full catback or make a home made true dual exhaust .... ?

^^^ LOL....being the only homemade true dual i would suggest the following:
1> got time and cash? cheap exhaust shop around? --> homemade true dual
2> none of the above? --> just get an exhaust from a vendor and call it a day

Jobe, to break it down for ya....
you gain ~5-8WTQ down low from the MDX spacer....which is a decent gain from a $60 spacer....
but one you want more power, you port and polish the manifold and runners and bore your TB out and the MDX spacer will start doing more harm than good....typical gains from porting and polishing the runners+manifold+TB are around 17-20WHP and 5-10WTQ....
so the choice is yours
