Mines dropped, HtSpec Type2 and Skunk2 Uca, and it hits. Only seems like passenger side. It doesnt happen enough to really bother me, and there is no way I would cut a big hole there.

My noise is mainly the driver side and it happens more then I would like. And yeah... cutting a hole there just seems extreme. I just haven't heard from the guys who actually done this mod... wait, can I call that a "Mod"?...lol

Those with Skunk2 UCA's may have to shave/trim in a different section too, to stop the control from hitting the shock tower. I circled in red where mine is making contact.

I have not attempted this yet because only hits on quick dips (not often) and it has not bothered me enough to tackle this yet.

But the tab that I circled in red is the only place where my UCA's are hitting. May grind it down first, then see where the new contact marks are, if any.

So what is that big hole for? Or did you copy the picture just for example?

...Ain't it though!?!? Honestly, you've come a long way, Josh. Your car looks awesome. I didn't want to tell you before because I thought it was mean. But once you sold them I took the liberty to be honest. They weren't HORRENDOUS, I just was never really in love with them.

Now, the XXR's on the other hand...

but of course...I live by that rule, if you have nothing nice to say... etc. So I don't. I never tell a person they're kid is hideous, I say they're cute. If I say nothing, it's usually because they are not cute.

Exactly what I did an acouple more spots were I saw it hit. I'm still using stock control arms so I notched under the hood because the sound was getting annoying. Now it hardly does it an it makes driving low even better

I just made a hole...didn't trim the other thing...but I'm on TEIN, and maxed and rarely bottom out anymore. The lower guys probably need to cut more.

I totally read past this before, thanks for posting that. I have the Skunk2's and have been skeptical that they hit the same spot as the Ingalls guys bc my shock towers just have a tiny scuff in that spot where some have drilled a hole. Plus the Skunk2's allow more clearance than the Ingalls, so I wondered why my clhnk never went away. As much as I hear the clunk when I hit dips/potholes, the shock tower should show a lot more than the tiny scuff I've noticed. Guess it's time I bought a grinder...
