I was going to paint the barrel of the S/C black, polish the outside elbow and paint the bracket that goes to the alternator TEAL, I went against it all because I will end up parting ways with the blower eventually and thought it would hurt resale. Besides for those who don't know the barrel is painted in a silver metallic and has clear coat, so no way I was going to polish it. If it was bare metal I would have had the unit polished.

Damn I thought for sure that was a Type S you basically did every exterior mod then obviosuly when I saw the interior I knew it wasnt. Looks pretty nice man I like it!

Thank you everyone! I decided to mess with the blower. I removed the side and bottom elbows and polish them, then use a high temp black gloss paint on the blower barrel while leaving the silver fins alone and polished the blower shaft. Long process again, but worth it. I did a lot of research on line, lots of people fully polished the blower or just fully painted the barrel black. Not to take anyone's credit, I wanted to be different, enjoy!

Thanks bro! It's been a long task to get that engine bay like that. To be honest with you I wasn't going to do anything with the engine bay, but I decided why not do some work to it before the blower goes in.

You my friend are my inspiration. From the moment I saw your blower, to your engine paint work and polished manifold... I knew I had to do something to my car and finally complete the last leg of my TL's modification journey which was to be SC. You supplied me with a lot of information about the blower since you did the install out of the box with intake upgrades and hit 100K. I felt confident in the decision to get a sc and use it as it. Now hopefully I can win an award and be in a magazine!
