Hey guys,

Just starting up this thread to post up progress as I work with the TL, I have decided to make my '01 Legacy my daily driver and put this one away for the ridiculousness. I'm not a great photographer, I do my best and I'm getting better so more pictures this summer.

So far it has an Injen cold air, A-Spec front and I put some yellow fogs in, here are some pics till now, from the ones the dealer took to messing with my Digital Rebel the other night. All pictures are clickable thumbnails:

The Autotrader pic:

First took it home last year:

Later on last summer after cleaning it up:

And just some misc. fun:

The big things are to come this spring, Ack's being a big help with a few things, we're both a couple of WHINER'S , so I'll keep this updated.

DAMN those pictures are small. When you uploaded them, you chose too small of a size. I usually choose "Large" which is 800x600 I believe.

And I'm assuming you are SC'ed since AckTL05 is and also because you said you both whine. Baller

They're just clickable thumbs, I can put full size but some are huge pics.

He's been nice enough to do payments on the charger, about 2/3 the way there, I can't wait! He's great to deal with, very helpful too.

My apologies, I rushed that post at lunch time. What I mean is for now he's "whining" and I will be when I get it from him. I believe he's just going N/A anyways but he's been a big help getting set up for it and other things to look into (water/meth, etc...). I wonder what he's going to do when the Student exceeds the Teacher????? I kid I kid.

Nonetheless it'll be sick, I'm trying to figure out what exhaust to go with now, and what rims to get. I have a set of 225/40-18's from my Subie, so it's either new tires for stock 17's or new rims.

The front end is getting repainted sometime early Spring, it has a lot of stone chips on the hood, mirrors, bumper and fender. I'm going to paint the whole grille except the emblem at that time too.

Wow, these are fantastic! The car looks great.

As long as you don't mind anyone knowing your license plate, I set the 8th shot (above Si picture) as my background. It's dark and subtle. Perfect.

Thanks guys, it's pretty run-of-the-mill for now, so we'll see. I will do plenty more summer shots and I want to do more fancy light ones too.

So you're buying his S/C, gotcha! Lucky bastard

I have the non-resonated ATLP Base Exhaust on my car and I love it. The ATLP Quads are dead sexy but I didn't want to worry about getting the Type-S rear lip and hacking up my stock bumper for them to fit. The Base is made for the 04-06 rear bumper and requires no modification.

The grill is going to look once painted!

Thanks man, I can't wait for warmer weather, all this snow is crazy up here and making me wish for it even more!

I like your choice on the exhaust too, I have the same rear lip dilemma because I love the quads but just can't swing the $$$. I like Richie's setup, but maybe going for just the Comptech or something.

Beside the blower I don't have much planned this year financially, I'm leaning toward a drop and thats about it, maybe cleared headlights and some taillight love as I do have a set of donor '05 bases for a black and clear setup, I dunno.

Oh, and the front lip will be all black too, no gray either.

And a few more, I'll try the pics instead of thumbs this time.

Some of the few pictures I have of it with the G37S wheels late last year at the hotel the morning of Honda Day:

Hey there's this fancy button called multi-quote, it's great! I'm very observant!

Yeah I figured they wouldn't look good without any cap, but I sold those wheel last year anyways, too heavy for my liking. Looked sick though.

Needs tint.

Looks great though. Since you sold the wheels already, I'll speak my mind... I feel like they looked out of place on the TL for some reason. I'm glad you sold them.

I'm quite picky about wheels, they have to be just right. I've had seven different wheels on my Subaru counting steelies

I do need tint. Baaaaaad.

It looks a whole lot better in person.

Not sure why all the pictures on AZ regarding the G37 wheels looks gunmetal. Mine looks like Sparkle Silver.

Yeah I was confused looking for pics and what not, they seemed to be a real deep silver, which I didn't mind.
