I went with 20's

Please let me know what you think about the 20's I went with. I was going to go with 19's but I saw these rims and they looked really good. I need to lower the car and then I will be set.

The rims look pretty good but a full pic of the car would be great!

Looks pretty good. J-roc, I edited your post and make those pics display directly. You could use IMG command instead of URL next time.

Is the front wheel lip larger that the rear wheel lip?? You are right that the car needs to be lowered....looks like a 4x4 TL right now.

Congrats overall.

Makes me sick everytime i look at those hellacious brembo calipers. Good choice on the wheels good match for the anthracite. Headlight housing looks good makes the car less busy. Look into the tein s techs, comptechs, or eibach pros.

The rims are the some in the front as in the back. I went with a 225/35/20. I wanted to go with at least a 235 but the rim was a 20x7 1/2. They did not make a bigger rim. At least I will know I won't rub when I lower the car. I will take some more pics when I can and thanks for all the feedback.

looks good.

funny how small the rotors and caliper look with those big rims (in comparison)

my brembos and rotors almost touch my 18 " wheels...

The rear wheel is almost under the car. Did u get the right offset? 18s are great on a TL. Not sure why people like these big rims on such small cars.

I knew it looked funny. IMO, the wheels are WAY to skinny. Heck, they are skinnier than the stock wheels!! Looks funny. But hey, if you like them, then that is all that counts.

agreed, going thinner compromises handling, esp when you go for a bigger wheel, you offset that by widening the wheel, his speedo has to be off

Those wheels are way to skinny for a car with such heft. You can slam it now w/o rubbing.

wheels look nice but you have to compromise about rubbing with big wheels ,guess thats why i went with custom made 20's on my car no rubbing with 20 by 8

Nice wheels. What's the offset on those? It's kinda hard to find wheels to clear the Brembos!! At a tire store, I tried on 17x7.5,+40, Volk se37k and that didn't fit.Now I'm thinking of getting 17 inch SSR Comps, perhaps.

Never knew they make 20x7.5".....damn....

the style of the wheel looks CLEAN but those look VERY narrow, especially in the rear.

I'm thinkin your offset is too big too, maybe like 55mm or something....

you DEFINITELY need to get 12mm spacers....that will at least push the wheels out 1/2" inch to make it even with stocks. Do this when you lower it.

Talk to your rim shop they should know how to do it....its cheap and simple bolt on between the hub and wheel. only downside is may cause a shimmmy at some freeway speeds...........................................

they look pretty good, but i agree that you need to put in some spacers to make the wheel come out a little more.
