As the Title says...I traded My Camry For the TL ...with my sister she only traded to me because of the Axle falling off incident

So far...im not so sure about modding this car...im going to keep it stock for now....and use it as my Daily Driven Car...My dad wants me to sell it and get a TYPE S...what do you guys think?...

A) Should i keep the Base TL and mod it?...
B) Should i Put out about 7 grand more for a Type S after selling the car?

Good upgrade. When I bought my TL in 07 the Acura dealer told me that Camrys are nice but they're like assholes...everyone has one.

i would say put out the 7 grand and trade up to a type s, just dont mod ur type s too heavily

I Have The Money thats no doubt...I'd love to keep this ... so i dont have to spend more money on a car...and use that extra 7k to mod it...But what if the axle incident happens to me?!?!

Yea i see bunch of old folks driving the same camry i was driving...but mines stood out..i have this mod bug disease....i believe camry is one of the top selling cars in america...and also 80% of camry's made in america since 1995 are still running now-a-days =)...but camry is a good DD car though no doubt

the tow covers are the black dots on the bumper correct??..

Im thinking about heading towards this route...

Hahah...its a pretty decent car...but putting a system and some rims made me feel young in that old folks car

The whole arm...cost 800 brand new...i had a family mechanic install for free for me...took only 5 hrs to install

Personally I would shoot for a Type-S if you can afford it. I love my TL to death but I wish I had havi, more power, and the more aggressive front end.

7 grand goes a looong way to modding the base to good power and springs/wheels to the point that you'd be over the power of type S.

I was thinking the same...Might as well right? since i have the money...2tone seats..more power..more options...even navi

I thought about the same thing too...like i said the only thing holding me back is the axle incident..what if that same thing happens to me ...cause 7grand of modding aint no joke...my tl can be decked out in no time...but at the same time i also need a reliable DD car....cant spend 7k on modding and the axle drops on me..thats a no no

i always liked the Type S more than the Base...Especially type s front end with the 04-06 front lip...thats just pure sex to me

I'd keep the 04 TL and use the extra cash to mod it. IMO 04 TL + $7k > 07-08 TL-S. You can use that cash to do a full bolt-on to get on to the same power levels as the TL-S and still have some cash left over.

Anyways, NICE trade! You definetely got the better end of the deal.
