Honestly, i don't think he gave a shit, and was indirectly trying to kill me and destroy my TL.

ZOMG is the only way to react to this kind of shit. It's a long story, and i'm thinking about typing it all out for everyone to enjoy. I will be honored to type this story out. And it does suck, i'm just very lucky it didn't happen going 60 mph.

I was turning the corner in the parking lot of the gym where i work out, and crunch. The left front sits down like she is tired of doing work.

The lower control arm stud broke causing the knuckle and assembly to push up into the fender.

Yeah man it's insane to think of the possible outcomes that could have occured. Walls, trees, oncoming traffic, ditches, all come to mind. I might have even had the possibility of testing out the cusco roll cage and takata 4 points. Front bumper, gone. intercooler, gone. My life, gone. Passenger's life, gone. I'm very, very lucky it happened where it did.

Yeah there is no price to a persons life and im glad its just cosmetic damage. Well look at the bright side, If body work needs to be done you might as well paint your whole car if you always wanted a paint job but didnt feel like it was necessary right at that moment.

You guys may very well recall this thread. If you familiarize yourself with the content, you will see my name thrown around a good bit. I never once said anything in response, but after this mishap, I am forced to bring this to the surface. I don't want anyone else's life in danger. Do Not let this individual work on your car.

Read that thread and you will see some of the most ridiculous spelling errors known to the English language.

This individual performed the auto/6mt knuckle swap. He made a statement along the lines of "eric's TL wouldn't look like it does if it wasn't for me"

Thanks for the comments brother.

wow is correct Faiz. You should have seen my face when it happened.

Very good guess Sir. You nailed it. None other. The notorious.

Definitely no price on one's life. Right now the idea running through my head is to swap the fender over from my auto TL.

I'm very thankful no one was hurt. To my knowledge he does not have a shop and I hope he never does. Only if he learns to care about a person's life.

Thanks for the words brother! I'm a real cool dude, and a lot of times I'm also a very nice guy. The problem is when i'm too nice. I like to help other people out. In this situation, I was helping this individual out and this is what happened as a result.

And i'm definitely mad, just more glad to be safe. And no i haven't spoken with him on the phone since before the last mishap, which was happened on the passenger side of the TL. He is one of those lurker guys, so he will be viewing this thread sometime soon.

Thanks man, me too. To be honest with you, i don't forsee him paying for anything. If i type out this story, you will see why I don't forsee this happening.

Read through it, it's a good laugh. He calls me out on using zip ties, i mean tyes, or however in the fuck he spelled that word. maybe tyies, something like that.

Yeah me neither man, if you look through all 5,000 something of my posts, you probably won't find one instance where I clowned someone's car. And if i did say something, it's in a subtle tone.

As for the stud, I'm predicting the nut wasn't fully tightened, therefor causing play between the stud bolt and knuckle, which in turned cause the stud to weaken, and then ultimately fail.

yikes.... pretty scary shit....

ya know, im quick to do DIY things in my driveway and garage with basic hand tools, but TWO things in this world, I only let ONE person besides me touch on my cars is suspension and brakes....

I agree with you on the calling people out... you're a well respected member like many others on here... lately though, this forum has been filling with some shady type characters, BM scammers and people who just dont know WTF they're doing or talking about
