Post pics of your crappy driveway at home or work that you have to deal with. Here is mine, I had to raise my car up an inch and I still drag frame everyday.





If I have people in the car I make them all get out before I park otherwise its horrible.

I immediately cringed when I saw your pictures. I have to park mine in a parking garage under the apartment complex too but the slope isn't as extreme as that!

 

Looks like someone built a pyramid front of your garage … that you have to drive over every day. I feel your pain man.

 

Damn...if I had to go through a drive way like that Air runners would be my first priority.

I realize that this may sound stupid (at first).... But... You could put a portable speed bump down either in front or behind the crest so that you can gain an extra inch or two of clearance when you pull in. There are plenty of options out there,just google it

 

do u have a jpipe? i wonder what it looks like... or is it even there?, due to that nasty driveway.

 

Thanks for the support, the pyramid comment had me crackin up. To answer your question Kix I just have the stock jpipe and yea its pretty scraped up.

I've never had a bad driveway. Just crappy roads in general.

 

That looks terrible man. I bet the noise is horrendous. I cringe enough when I scrape the air damn backing out of driveways, and my car is at stock height.

In a city or suburban area? If its in a city, I commend you. I was paranoid as crap last weekend when I had to park on the street in Chicago for one night.

 

That scraping sound is worse than nails on a chalkboard..

Wen I first lowered my car I underestimated everything lol... Now I Overestimate everything.. I'm sure I piss off ppl wen I pull in/out my driveway.... Oh well.. Anything is better than that sound haha

 

Perhaps some high plywood on each side would help your car rise a bit and not scrape?

I didn't buy houses specifically because of driveway issues like that.

 

Your picture reminds me of the times when my car would get stuck on the alignment machine for being to low. Same teeter-tottering effect.

 

My mom's driveway is even worse. It's on an incline and I always park on the side of the street when I go visit.

 

reminds be of the top gear episode where they had to get the zonda onto the street with the wood blocks.

 

I am forced to back in at an angle on my driveway too...but it's not as bad as oarichard's

 

both..tho san jose is nothing like a NY, SF, or Chicago.

when i drove to san diego, it was POURING and i couldnt tell if i was allowed to park on the street so i decided to park in my hotel parking lot. i got stuck coming out on 2 wheels, had to wait for 30 minutes for a friend to show up with a shit load of wood haha

 

^ yea, guys we might get every once in a while... but at least we get stucklike boss's with clean cars HA!

negative, either way i will still scrape, i've tried. You cant see from the pics but its not flat where the grass is. Thats actually a curb lol

 

My next place driveway will definately be a priority. I just like everything about this place, well except for the driveway lol

Street parking is not an option. It is horrible here and I have had my car bumped into 3 times already whilst parked.

Backwards, forwards, it doesn't matter. Like the other guy said its like driving over a pyramid everyday lol
