i was bored on saturday...

so i decided to do my headlights. heres a couple of pics for now i'll get better ones tomorrow after i wash the car.

interesting...

ive done dozens of lights, all different types and styles... never see something like that

you blacked the main housing around the projecter, and either removed the chrome strip or painted it black

Agreed, never seen one like this setup.

Seems like the chrome strip is painted.

yeah i painted the chrome strip just to be alittle different.

yeah i've always like the amber look.. every civic and integra i've owned has had them. i think its a more jdm look.

It's a growing trend. Here's mine...


I tried to paint the chrome strip but I put too many layers of paint on it. It was smudging on one spot when I was putting it back together. I didn't have the patience to redo it so I threw it away.

I wanted to do this on mine since day one... But ended up always getting fully blacked out housings. I also still have my ambers in the headlights but they are smoked

Thank you so much! Now I know if I do this mod it'll look good, I've got the same color TL, I just needed to make sure it wouldn't look bad.

I plan on doing everything you did.

I admit it looks better on AM(any darker color) than WDP.

Can you take a few more shots I want to see what exactly you painted and how it would look, the glare from the sun is kind of making it hard to see.
