Johnstl, thanks for the compliment. Ya go for it, upgrade the rims. It seems like everyday I see more and more TL's out there. So its nice to be able to personalize your own and make it stand out from the rest.

iiRIGHTii,

Very nice wheels. Just love the deep lip finish!!! Just one question for you. Does the 5 spoke flush with the lip or is the 5star inverted inside the lip from looking at it at a side angle from if I was driving behind you. Post some pictures if you have any. THe reason why I ask is if the 5spoke is inverted, then the deep dish will stand out more. But if it is flush with the lip then the lip would not look so nice. That is just my IMHO.

axis milanos on the 6MT???

I'd like to buy a set of staggered milanos for my car.

My first question...Is it possible to put 19x8.5's on the 6MT with the brembo's???
Second...has anyone put staggered wheels on their TL, or know someone who has?(photos?)

thanks

Why? 19x8.5 w/ a +45 offset will look just fine. If you go with the other option, the +35 offset, the rim will stick out a good half inch from the fender. Then you wouldn't even be able to drop your car which would look weak if you had 19's...

well i wasn't planning on dropping my car. i have to tell you any advice will be happily accepted but i have a lot of decisions to make on my own. i live on long island, i work often in NYC. even the idea of having 19" rims on my car is scary, dropping it also is a potential nightmare.

first of all, im not even sure if i could get the 19x8.5's on my car at all(being the 6MT) the TL with the milanos on it in those pictures is def a 5AT.

Sorry for the delay in response, been out of town.

I'll wash the ride this weekend and take some new pix.

MomoTL, the spokes do curve in, giving the rims an even deeper lip illusion.

Like your setup

I'm digging your setup. Love the rims. Where did you purchase the rims and tires and how much did you pay? Do you get any rubbing? How much did the comptech springs lower your car? I'm looking to upgrade and I'm a total newby at this. Thanks for you time.

iiRIGHTii,
how's the ride with the 9teen milano's, is it really a hard ride, cause i want 9teens but my wife want me to get 8teens for comfort (then i have to choose diff rims)? Your SSM has a clean look to it, without over doing it. Good choice.........late and let me know about my ??????

I just went with 19's and the ride didn't change that much

I was torn between the Milano and SuperMesh II, went with the Supermesh, not sure if it was the right decision, so I have put them up for sale. The rear is a 19x9.5 so the lip is really nice.
