$uperstarrG35...so you have what car? lol...so if you sold/traded your old g that means you didn't like it...if you want it again, i think thats a dumb choice...i'd go for a fast RWD like 335i or G37 (even though the G37 is heavier than the G35)

Well, here's my unbiased opinion. I leased a G35 for 4 years, which I loved. My lease ended last year and I was considering getting another Infiniti. I just couldn't imagine a better ride. Then I test drove the TL.
Long story short, I am the current owner of a kinetic blue pearl 2008 TL-S A-spec 6-MT (pics comin soon!). I've been driving my TL for about 3 months now and couldn't be happier with the decision. There are small details about the G that I miss (e.g., automatically retracting driver's seat when entering the car) but I just see so much more value in what Acura has to offer. Overall I am much happier with the Acura and feel that I got alot for my money. I turn heads everywhere I drive and I know exactly why... =)

JJaber06 dude the G35 and the 350Z share the EXACT same powertrain. I traded in a 04 Red G35 Coupe on my 07 TL-S. I much prefer the TL. It has a lot more room and is a much more comfortable ride IMHO. I do miss my G35, but I am extremely happy with my TL-S.

^^yea they have the same powertrains but your overlooking one of the biggest reason why the Z is fast than the G which is the difference in weight and thats why he said get the faster Z

one of the reasons i ended up getting a tl over the g35 is gas mileage...which is now paying off i guess. my roommate has a g35 and averages barely 20mpg with a lot of highway driving. supposedly the new g37's should get better mpg with the vvel engines.

the G35 looks terrible the curvy lines just dont look cool anymore....in fact if you were to get the G35..might as well get the 350Z for cheaper...
in the end, the TL's lines are what did it for me - the front and especially the headlights and the rear w/A-spec on is just ...plain sex.
btw, way to go with a comparison thread and in the wrong section too.... LOCK

All comparison threads need to be in Car Talk. Since we can't move threads there, feel free to restart the discussion. Thanks.
