The car looks really nice. How long you had to wait to get the wheels. I order mine in DEC 4 and still waiting. Can't wait to get them.

DICE R4-Silver-INSTALLED!

Hey fellas,

I know that I posted that all modding was UNofficially over with my TL, but I do have something more for ya!: The first EVER DICE R4-Silver unit to be installed in anyone's vehicle. Some pics:

My 3G iPod Nano hooked up to the DICE Electronics cradle:

Screen (1) Shot (Album/Artist), along with a pic of the accompanying text in the upper display:

Screen (2) Shot shows your playlists which you have created on your iPod, along with a pic of the accompanying text in the upper display:

Screen (3) Shot-Enables playing of your whole library of songs, along with a pic of the accompanying text in the upper display:

The unit works just like Nick@DICE said it would. All of the iPod functions can be accessed directly from the touchscreen. The job only took a little over an hour. He was great to work with, along with the installer, Zoltan, who as a fellow believer, was very refreshing to dialogue with, as he stated, "Yes, I'm one of the few believers that are left out there." It was half in jest, and half serious, but well taken. Those of you who know me, know what I do, and know where I stand. I keep my avatar up and don't change it for a reason.

*Note: DICE was willing to use my vehicle as a "guinea pig" for this pre-release product because of my close proximity to their company!!

Hope you enjoy the pics, even though they are, admittedly, of pretty bad quality. Any comments are welcome! Let me know what you think.

No it's not a "colorware" ipod. Mine is a regular black Apple 3G iPod Nano. The screen display you see is the default screen which comes up once you are plugged into the DICE cradle. It shows the DICE logo up top, and "OK to disconnect" on the bottom. The screen/functions are locked to this configuration once you are plugged in.

I do, however, have the invisibleSHIELD by ZAGG as a protective film covering my iPod. It certainly beats bulky cases, and cheap screen-protectors. I love it, and you can hardly tell it's even on.

I'm not sure if you read my write-up on the Silverline kit. You can navigate through your music using voice commands as well. For example if you use the command "XM preset 2" it will pop up with ARTIST on your display. Then use the command "XM channel up (or down)" to go through artists. You can do this with ALBUM, PLAYLIST, TRACK and even the settings and source features of the DICE kit. Have fun!!

Hey Al, for the new DICE Silverline unit, you can pm uncald4 to get in on the special price group buy. They should be ready very shortly. Mine, as I mentioned above, is a prototype model that DICE installed in my car as a guinea pig to see if there were any defects. I am just fortunate to be living relatively close to DICE Electronics. As for price, I received a good price straight from the manufacturer.

Update! GReddy GReddy GReddy!

I know I said that I was UNofficially done with modding, but I got a lil' something for y'all.

Finally did it...I had to get the GReddy Evo II, it was callin' my name:

As you saw, yes, I did end up putting the '07 base A-Spec rear lip on to compliment the exhaust.

Here's a couple random pics:

Some pics of my puddles:

I gotta give big props to my boy Ted (kamuiangl) for helping me install the rear lip and exhaust!

I also gotta give recognition for the wife who took a lot of these shots. (I'm a terrible photographer)

Like I said, I'm still UNofficially done modding...except for the ATLP j-pipe, which will be here within a week.

Hope you all enjoyed!

Hey Tim, thanks bro! Your ride still looks tight with the Type-S wheels! Man, if you all would stop meeting on Friday nights and start meeting on other nights, I'd be able to make it out, lol. We'll have to definitely hook up one of these days...

Man, Al, you spotted it, lol. Btw, that was my wife who took that pic. Yes, yes, I do need to give you your due credit for helping me out with my decision, and convincing me to get a base rear lip. Thanks, bro, I appreciate it!

LOL.

Hey mek227,

You actuall have an NBP as well. NBP is the manufacturer's name for Acura's black. NBP=Nighthawk Black Pearl, so all black Acura's are NBP!
