So somebody needs to guide us to where we can get these for a good price. Now that we see this isnt too much of a hard job, we all need to get this done too.

Explain how a completely custom bumper is not hard? It's definitely going to be expensive if you dont have the same skill set. The only thing I can think of to bring down the price is to have someone fab a "kit."

Hey ludachrisvt, in regards to the difficulty of this task I'm not too worried about the bumper work, it really isn't that hard, unless you plan to DIY in your garage. As long as you've got a reputable body shop that can do the work then you're golden. In my case I can check that requirement off MY list.

My only real concern is with the price of these Audi lights, which is where the price of this project could get out of hand. I was given a ball park number from a friend around 300 dollars a light.... any "deal" on these lights would deff. be appreciated.

And I'm just going to thank Mjakaz06TL and his message, as it was very productive to the OP, myself, and all of AcuraZine.

$550 for lights

As good as you have been to the body shop the least they could have done was give you an inside hook up

Aftermarket replica R6 lights go for around $200 and if you go through a body shop and get the real ones from Audi they go for $340 with the needed connectors. I should know as I bought a pair last year but never got around installing it :/

yes i'm worth that much....haha..i'm so lame..

i think JnC has all possible lighting equipments to have everything to do with headlights or other parts of the vehicle. another word, he knows everything.

OP, also putting prices on things doesn't mean much to us since we're not the ones who bought or spent money on them UNLESS you're selling them......afterall, it's YOUR money. better just leave the pictures do the talking and enjoy the finished product. i'm sure they'll look GREAT!!

I love your car but I would never rip off another car, but that is just me. Again I love your car but $600 for BMW mirrors and $1500 for AUDI leds? Great idea, but not "unique" although it looks sick. This is why I would never get LEDs, Angel eyes, just not my style.

For encouraging modifications to the OEM lights yourself you seem overly judgmental of the modifications done.

theres inspiration, then theres straight copying..copying this mod would be like doing rodney's LS tips- mods like that should stay one-off, be creative on youre own if you have access to a guy to do the bodywork

This made no sense. I actually disagree with ripping off audi for $1200, which is a lot for just lights. Look at JNC above, he was surprised at the price as well. BTW, I charge $150 so that is over a grand less which makes no comparison to this work.

Actually, it did make sense. You're clearly hating in your first post and then you posted a 2nd time to queef some more. Why do you give a shit if he paid more for his lights than he needed to? He doesn't want replica; he wants O.E. for his ride. So he's going to pay more than if he got aftermarket. GTF off your high horse.

Well????

also spill the beans on the mirrors if you don't mind, were they a direct fit or did they require some modifications?
