I've had my 06 NBP Base TL for about a month now (I guess this will be my official introduction) and have bought all this stuff for it. I just don't have the time to install/use them! I haven't even had a chance to wash my car since I bought it early April

Here's what I got:

A-Spec Gunmetal 18x8.5 rims


Full A-Spec Lip Kit


$300+ in Wash/Detailing products (some not shown)



Porter Cable 7424XP Buffer w/ Pads & Backing Plates



AND THE ONE THING I DID GET TO INSTALL:

OEM Rear Deck Lip



Trying to get my lip kit installed but it's going really slow. Also heading over to Pep Boys later this week to pick up some engine/tranny oil + filters. After that it's going to be:

tires
cleared/blacked out headlights
aem v2 cai

Should I start taking it slow or keep going with the purchases?

if money isn't tight, just let it all go! jk of course (: just spend your money wisely which to me is what you are doing because those are not useless things you have sitting in the garage! just make some time so its worth it!

so you have time to set up ur cleaning supply, take pictures of them, post/comment but no time to install it? hahaaa... make some time, im sure ull be happy after you do.

I wouldn't put any more money out until I decided I'd make the time to use what I've got.



Edit: btw, I've got a place for those rims if you're not gonna have time to use 'em.

Just make a schedule - "project days" if you will...and one at a time so it won't be overwhelming, and you do it right.

Lol good point. but it was too late to work on my car so I organized my stuff and took pictures instead And yeah, i need to make some time. probably going to force my lazy ass to wake up early on the weekend since weekdays are a no go for me.

thats exactly the way I started out of my NBP bought the trunk lip and 200 dollars in detailing supplies. I have to warn you it took me probably 40 hours to get that thing shinny and swirl free! good luck I got my finger on the shopping cart for those same rims too!

Your gonna love that Porter Cable........ Detailing can be time consuming. Wash, clay, polish, wax, etc. Start early when it's cool.

Good choice on the rims man Post some pics up when you finally get everything done! The next step for me is A-Spec Kit and some detailing supplies but like others i have the time but not the funds haha
