Do yourself a favor and make sure the tips you buy are either polished 304 stainless steel or chromed 304 stainless steel. Polished is even better because you don't have to worry about the chrome flaking but chrome is usually a bit shinier. Dont skimp out especially if your gonna weld them on!!! Depend on where you live you will be cutting them off in 3 months to a year oh and I see your in Ohio they will be rusted by November
I live in Tennessee actually No shitty salted roads here really haha But I gotcha Rog The ones I priced were probably an off brand for sure.

Looks good Roger, moving along with the mods nicely.
I personally have always been in love with the base exhaust tips. That was one of things that always stood out as beautiful in my mind. I would never change them. But if I was going to...67 bucks would be my mod too!

I agree stock tips look good but they are frickin impossible to keep clean at the very bottom middle no matter how much I cleaned after a few days I would always have black soot on the bottom and it usually wasent very easy to get off!

Anyone know the size of the Type S bumper cutouts? Think these tips would be too small in those?

It's say " length is 9.75" and a width of 6.5 " I believe that the base rear bumper has width around 7 or 8 . Do you guys think it will fit the base bumper of acura tl 2007

I know this thread is about 04-06 base TL lip, but do you think those tips would look too small on my type s rear lip?

what's the diameter of each tip, 3"?

I'm wondering the same thing. The diameter of the tips in this thread are 3" with a total width of 6.5". I think the Type S tips are 3" also.

You should see how wide the stock tips are... I'm guessing they are 6-6.5 inches wide as well. If the stock tips look ok with the Type S bumper, i think these dual heads will look fine too.

I got them installed today....they do not look bad at all!....$67 plus another $45 to get them welded on...Im happy with this!

The other place wanted to charge me $250 for magnaflows....He said it was the only way to make them fit. What a ripoff....
