Am I missing something?!? Weren't the wires red/black so you'd know which one is positive?

^^^ Yes....but some of the modules will have a black wire and a black wire with a white stripe....

it basically depends from manufacturer to manufacturer.....sad there is no set standard

The cold cathode wires are black and red yes.

But the trunk light wires were not black and white.

There's a gray and blue wire, and a blue and yellow wire.

I tried researching which one is positive and which one is negative, but I figured the thicker wire was positive.

I was wrong.

Did it correct this time and the positive was the thinner wire.

lmao guys

I'm getting tint done. About time.

Formula 1 Classic Series Non-Metallic Tint with moleskin for $200.
The place I'm getting it done at has a huge rep around the GTA for their quality service and cheap pricing.
They know their stuff with the TL, and tints the whole rear quarter window.

Oh, it's gonna be 35%.

I looked on their website and they don't have 20%.
I'm happy with 35%, though.

I had 35% on my last car. I thought it was decent enough even though I'd like to go lower, but we have tint laws here. It kinda helped make things clear at night, especially with the amount of rain we've been getting lately.

Looking up pics of your last car

I'd love to have full visability at night LOL
If I had a backup cam, I'd do dark tint.

I've never had front windows tinted before.

Visibility is fine...just don't do the front windshield...in theory it's great, but crap visibility and every time I see it I can't help but figure there's either some pot being smoked or some d**k being sucked.

$200 isn't bad...and if it's a reputable place in the Grand Theft Auto area...then go for it.

PS...about the rear quarter, have Tyler send you a picture of his to ensure they do it the exact same way. :x

I have 35% and I like it. Since I have Parchment interior it looks lighter than it actually is. I've seen 35% with Ebony interior and it looks like 20%.

Thanks guys!

I think I'm gonna just stick with 35%.

Formula 1 tint is supposed to be one of the brands on top, so I do hope their technology makes my tint appear dark =)

Can't believe when I got the car I only had a few plans:
1. A-Spec Lip Kit
2. Tint
3. Decklid spoiler

Tint finally on its way!

New summer project:

Use body shop skills to fix curb rashes on A-Spec rims.
Paint them with Nissan's K11 or another gun-metal colour I come across.

35% Formula One Classic series tint applied today.

Looks so great but still a little hazy and tiny bubbles lol

Is it okay to touch the tint with my finger?

I know I'm not supposed to roll down the windows, and there's a sticker across the window controls reminding me.

I wouldn't do anything, just let it sit

Check in a few days and if the bubbles are still there, either call the shop and take it back or use a VERY small needle and pop the bubble.
